Thanks! Hopefully he can be serviceable.Too early to tell how he will adjust in the NFL, however scouts and player analysts really like him.
-
Good or bad? Or too early to tell?
-
It's a 3 year deal
-
Any details on the contract?
-
This off season like this would be awesome. Would be a dream.

Although I will receive plenty of hate,(Hate BOTH the Seahawks and the Patriots equally) I was hoping, not cheering, for a Patriots win for that very reason. Wouldn't want Luck to be compared poorly to Wilson for superbowl wins like Manning was/is to Brady. 1 win is better than 2. I was hoping for a Pats win for Lucks future greatness reputation not for the Pats- put it this way, I was cheering for a Seahawks loss. Go Colts.Luck has plenty of time to win 4 super bowls. We dont have to hear about how Russel wilson already has 2 super bowls over luck.
And best of all, luck doesnt have the worst play of all time cemented in his head on the final drive of a super bowl. Russel wilson will forever be paranoid in his young career.

Did anyone else see Art Jones standing next to Chandler Jones after the game or was that their other brother, because it looked a lot like Art.
-
Seriously? Is this a joke. ...
-
I heard that Blount was acting up, playing poor, and being annoying on purpose so he could be released by the Steelers and be claimed by the Patriots.

Yeah. It's hard to play defense when you are down but improvement is needed on both sides of the ball.I'm not disagreeing with you. One thing that people seem to be stuck on tho, is that they feel the defense wasn't good enough. I'm not saying that's wrong but I think people should consider how the NE game went down. The costly turnover by Cribbs put the defense in a no win situation and cost them 7 points. The most important factor of the game, IMO, was that the offense could not stay on the field and constantly were putting the defense back out on the field with short rest. This is not unlike what occurred the years Manning was here. The offense was stymied by NE defense. The offense put the defense in a bad situation and by the end of the 3rd quarter the defense had nothing left.
If the footballs had been inflated properly it would have been a different story :highfive:

Yeah it was/ is very frustrating to have Manning and Luck and to only have ONE! super bowl since '98! Hopefully things will get turned around, or Brady retires either one . But the defense does need to get better, no excuses anymore.Yeah I feel ya the Monster Defense that we are building here in Indy - baby steps since 2012 the concern has always been there even when 18 was here yet we are still waiting .
As a Colts fan defense is a concern every year & IMO Ryan Grigson is feeling the heat & I expect this draft & FA to be the one that turns this around we don't want the Colts to squander Andrew Lucks potential by repeating the mistakes of the past .
Denver was willing to give Peyton Manning what ever he needed to be successful & The Colts need to do the same for Andrew Luck or this decade is gonna really suck .

We're going to sign/draft people. We should be more concerned of the defense.

I agree. Either way Suh is really good and worth bringing in and anyway the Colts and Pagano could probably get him to mature a little bit. I guess Waldens cases aren't as severe/ well known, touching an official isn't that bad, but head butting a player is different. Still Walden keeps it together. The nastiness, and mean persona is all cool, just not the action of purposely cleating or kicking other players. That's just dirty! If he doesn't like a situation with another player or coach, that type of player is likely to cause a locker room issue. Colts always have been a classy organization, I would hate for them to tarnish their rep over one player. Truthfully I'm surprised Walden doesn't get the boot, because he really isn't that good, and he pulls crap like that every so often.
-
That's why the Colts should sign him. He is nasty, scary, and mean; with him, he would make the whole defense play like that. The defense the previous season just played too soft and not tough-you can see with all the games vs. New England. How is it possible our people who play DT, DE, NT are 300lbs can't stop a much smaller rb from getting through them. If we want Legarrette Blount, Jonas Gray, Insert here, to run for 200+ yards, we can stick to our players now. I say we get Suh or Knighton. For once Grigson must bring in a big name FA.I don't care how good Suh is I do NOT want that classless fool on the Colts. He is a punk that doesn't deserve to wear an NFL uniform. He has so much talent, but it's sad to see somebody with his kind of talent to have the attitude and pull his kind of antics. Revis on the otherhand, I would like to have, but that's a dream. I'm fine with Davis, Toler, and Butler as our corners. We have other issues to fix such as the OL DL and LB's before we can get into the fantasy world of who it would be nice to have.
-
What do the Seahawks, Steelers, Cowboys, etc run?
-
Hahahaha, too bad he didn't make the team earlier during the pre-season. Maybe Grigson will give him another shot next year? Lets all hope for Gaffigan for WR.I had my heart set on Jim Gaffigan being our slot receiver, but I guess Carter will do.
-
Yup, sad and disappointing to see, especially with Rogers and Brazill so much potential just go away like nothing. It's so hard to make it into the NFL and when you do you have to take advantage of it; hopefully Carter can.Rogers & Brazill brined their own bridges.... They had the talent
Avery & DHB were basically the same person. Speed, No Hands
-
Yeah he could actually get on the field and be a presence, I agree with you.Avery was actually productive enough. I think we just expected things to work out differently, and Allen getting hurt and then Reggie getting hurt changed things. But out of Avery, DHB and Nicks, Avery was easily the most productive. He did as much in his one season here as the other two combined.
-
I recall most beig excited to see what he could do, but never saying he would be anything at ILB. In fact, many were questioning his size.
Alright, I guess I am over-exaggerating with savior, but I mean like adequate or good. Hopefully he can impress in training camp and preseason and earn a starting job.
-
Hopefully Duron Carter can pan out unlike Da'Rick Rogers, Lavonn Brazil, even Donnie Avery and Darius Heyward-Bey. Too many times have the Colts signed/drafted players with amazing potential but character concerns and it always fails or in DHBs or Averys case, they just do not play well in their prove it deals. Fingers crossed that Carter can become a long-term Colts player( if he signs).
-
I thought Muamba was supposed to be the savior at ILB, what has happened to him? (I know he is still on the team? Just doesn't get much playing time?)The similar thing happened last year with Muamba
-
I've thought about the first 2 countless times before, changing to zone scheme could have salvaged Richardsons career. Also many of the Coaches should be fired, RB coach is a step in the right direction but the OL coach and the strength and condition coaches being fired for how poor things have been would help a lot too. Great write-up though. Hopefully Grigson/ Irsay are reading these comments .
-
Sorry. I mean they should* part ways with OL coach. They haven't yet.source?
-
Now agree to part ways with the OL coach too. Really good move as running game has been embarrassing, hopefully their can be a good hire.
Report: D'Qwell Jackson arrested
in Colts Football
Posted
Grigson needs to take action on all these annoying and ridiculous arrests. Pagano needs to put more discipline in the players smh. Well if this is true, do we see D'Qwell next year? Just wow.
