Fine line between 6-12 and 12-6 with this schedule.
Especially when there are only 17 regular season games.

How many games were we predicted to win in 2012?
I'm NOT trying to compare AR to AL. I'm really just trying to remember what the braniacs thought back then.

Yeah. I think Flowers will be gone before 35.
Also, there should be a lot of good, "coulda been a first rounder" players. One I like is the LB/Micah Parsons like rusher from Arkansas. Drew Sanders. Outside of scoring TDs, we need more guys who can put heat on the opposing QB. He's a very good rusher. Just not sure he fits Bradley's defensive scheme. But having Sanders would also help our LB unit. We've lost some dudes. I do think Jojo Domann will make steps this year...
Add ‘Captain’ Jack Campbell LB out if Iowa as well.

What may be logical to you may not be what happens. We both know that. Beware of certainties.
Which would make his logic not logical at all… with the 4th pick the Indianapolis colts select….to defer until the second half.

I have not heard that at all. Maybe you have him confused with someone else. In fact PFF just released their rankings before the draft and they think he could be drafted anywhere from pick 26-51 with his ranking at 26. He is a big man who is versatile and can play G or T. He had a great combine and senior bowl performance and is one of their favorite OL who should be starting soon in the NFL. I watch Syracuse a lot and he definitely is a great player.
Sorry. Andrew Vorhees was the one that was injured.

Jordan Addison, Jalin Hyatt, Josh Downs...

Just did a mock draft on https://www.profootballnetwork.com/mockdraft/, but missed being able to screenshot just my draft, so I'll type it out. No trades on this one.
- CJ Stroud, QB - He's my favorite at this spot at the moment. Our HC/OC hire could impact this pick, but for now, this is my guy.
- O'Cyrus Torrence, OG - I've seen him pop up in the 1st round some, so I don't know if he'd be here, but if he is, he would give another absolute mauler opposite Nelson.
- Byron Young, DT - Just a powerhouse, especially for his size (6'3", 292lb). At the moment, he's an elite run defender, but has traits to be a good pass rusher as well.
- Zach Harrison, DE - Absolute freak athlete, who just hasn't lived up to his hype coming out of HS. He's awkwardly stiff, so at the moment a much more linear rusher than bendy, but has way too much upside to pass on at this point.
- Joe Tippmann, C - Another mauler to add to the OL. 6'6" 312lbs, but extremely quick off the snap and plays with surprisingly good leverage for his height. Bonus that he's also an IN native.
- Jayden Reed, WR - Reminds me of a smaller, poor-man's AJ Brown. Doesn't have elite speed, but good acceleration and contact balance. Generates YAC out of the slot and brings return ability as well.
- Riley Moss, CB - Productive CB in college. Has a strong athletic profile with a great vertical jump (was also a collegiate hurdler). Has sufficient long speed, does well in zone coverage, and is quick to break on passes, so he may be an ideal fit in the slot. Doesn't meet the arm length threshold, but plays like he has longer arms than he does, so I don't think it's an issue.
- (7th) YaYa Diaby, EDGE - Would be a designated pass rusher to start, but has the size and length to be at least quality depth. A speed to power rusher that uses his long arms well, but needs to develop better lateral counters and needs to get better in run defense.
Could be close…

Are these the correct lyrics Minshaw?
Pittman: If I get to know your name
Minshaw: Well, if I could trace your private number, babyPittman: All I know is that to me
You look like you're lots of fun
Minshaw: Open up your lovin' arms
I want some, want some… I set my sights on you
(And no one else will do)
Pittman: And I, I've got to have my way now, babyPittman: All I know is that to me
You look like you're havin' fun
Minshaw: Open up your lovin' arms
Watch out, here I come… You spin me right 'route, baby, right 'route
Like a record, baby, right 'route, 'route, 'route
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round
Like a record, baby, right 'round, 'touchdown. -
Actual Quote:
“For the ’23 draft, we have many options,” Irsay tweeted. “With the #4 pick, we could stay put and take a QB—-or trade up and take a QB—-OR trade down and MAYBE take a QB—-Or NOT. All options on the table, but we like our position and are very excited. Fire up!” -Jim Irsay.

Not using a 1st round pick on a mid-major guy. I want to see consistent production against top tier talent. Bowers had that in college. Also MIGHT help with another outlet so AR does run as much thinking he is Christian Okoye.
