1. Does he love to play the game. -Ballard
-
And with the 15th Pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select...
-
Nice player but is he a “Colts Guy”. I think the character, professionalism, maturity, along with a whole host of other traits play a significant role in the draft selection. (For the Colts Organization) if he is there, and if Ballard’s team concluded that he is not our guy, we would trade that pick.

First off
Thanks for sharing...... These are always fun to read
With a rapidly aging DT room, there is a very decent chance that Ballard picks a DT (3Tech) in round 1
I tend to think he may take the best DE or WR, but Newton has played every spot on the DL, and could be a DE
on early downs and move inside on passing downs
If it were me, I would take the BPA at WR in round 2
(There are 4-5 that might be available)
A guard in round 3 is a real possibility as we need to keep adding to the room due to injuries and needed competition
There was a time early in Luck’s QB tenure that Oline help should have been made a priority…. With the talent on defense this year, and considering the needs other teams have, it’s a great opportunity to grab some BPA type talent at positions that might have gone earlier than expected. We have enough TE… give the WR room another year… sure up D and O line. Add depth at CB, OLB, RB, etc. 2 cents…

Estime or Corum Late in the draft
-
RD1: Newton DT or Murphy II. DT
RD2: Cooper OLB or Beebe OG
RD3: Trice DE or Zinter OG
RD4: Hart CB or Sinnott TE
BPA...WR, CB, DEFENSE
As for April 8th...
I'll see you on the dark side of the shoe... (Pink Floyd I believe)
-
28th Defense in the league... I believe.
For me;
1st. Newton/Murphy/Latu/Turner/Verse
2nd. Tampa/Kinchens/Cooper/Beebe
3rd: WR/TE/CB
BPA...

Not using a 1st round pick on a mid-major guy. I want to see consistent production against top tier talent. Bowers had that in college. Also MIGHT help with another outlet so AR does run as much thinking he is Christian Okoye.

Dolphins or Ravens…

Fine line between 6-12 and 12-6 with this schedule.
Especially when there are only 17 regular season games.

How many games were we predicted to win in 2012?
I'm NOT trying to compare AR to AL. I'm really just trying to remember what the braniacs thought back then.

I REALLY hope Brown makes it to us at 13 and we take him. I’m not a fan of going QB round 1 unless we trade back a little and still are able to get Love.
His 5.11s forty only helps our cause...however slight it is I’ll take it... I can see Raiders going Ruggs III instead of Epenesa...too.

Duvernay, Greenard, Davidson, Cephus, Akers, Arnette are a few guys I like...
-
Ballard is going to select BPA at a position of NEED... Not a prospect in round one... Round two... Maybe he takes a little more risk and goes for a guy like love. I think pick 13 going to be a guy with the least risk. If your job/credibility is on the line... you would go with the BPA (Blue chip) guy over a prospect every time.

I like most of the players. However, ATL picks 16, it’s CAR that picks at 6. Also, according to the value chart, picks 13 and 75 add up to 1365 points, while pick 6 is 1600 points. Wilson isn’t worth an extra 235 points of capital
Looking at the wrong information... it would be for pick 7 or 8... sorry

In FA we sign one of the top 3-4 IDL available to shore us up. And the D will be on its way.
The idea of Jordan Howard interests me.
A FA TE also.
Go gett'em CB.
This mock is glorious!
