Are you for real. The man made a mistake. The colts locker room, players, coaches, and fans should not loss respect for this man. if we are as tight of a team that we say we are everyone in the organization will help and support Jimmy during this hard time and struggle that he is battling with. Jimmy has done a lot of good things for this team, city, state, people who are in need of help, etc. Don't let one incident change all that. Jimmy I hope that you learn and overcome this hard time and I support you. Good luck and lets begin the next step forward.

There is a difference between battling cancer and battling substance abuse and DUI.  If you can't see that than perhaps I should be asking you if you are for real.  This will not be the same as CHUCKSTRONG and even to compare it to that is ridiculous.  I cannot believe that so many just run to support this man. He has been great for this organization and franchise but he made a mistake and this isn't the first time. He has had issues in the past.  It's amazing to me that you are treating this like it's something that wasn't entirely in his control.  Would you be showing this much support if he had hit and killed someone, what if it had been your family on the road while he was driving.  He made a mistake and he needs to pay for it. I just hope that him paying for it won't bring down the entire franchise that he helped build because that will hurt so many more people.

I never compared this to "CHUCKSTRONG" or said it would have the same effect. The point I was trying to make was that FAMILY supports one another and I consider the colts locker room and organization to be a family. They support each other and help each other in times of trouble and need. I am not saying what Jimmy did was not wrong but players like Reggie, Luck, Mathis, and the rest of the colts family should not turn their backs on him but help him out.

  2. So the Colts just lost all respect as an organization.  Just went from a team that lots of player want to play for to a team no one with any sense would want to play for.  How does anyone like this team anymore with an owner with these issues.  How do we as fans justify giving our money to an owner with these issues?  As someone pointed out how do any players respect him after this.  I would not be surprised if Luck, Wayne, Hilton, Davis all wanted out of Indianapolis after this. There is no way we are getting anyone we wanted anymore. I can't even imagine that any rookies we draft could want to come  here.  It's a really sad day to be a Colts fan and I feel really sorry for him. I'm just thankful he didn't hurt anyone. Is there any type of precedent to this at all?

  3. My phone screams out BREAKING NEWS.  I see the horseshoe at the top.  Open up the app to this.  MANNNNNNNNNNNNNN........ talk about anti-climatic.  I mean don't get me wrong, he's a good back-up but seriously???????

SMDH,  I must be on edge?

Me to at first I thought we had Davis signed and got all excited. Real downer when I found out that wasn't the case :(

  4. I see a lot of people keep saying we need to address the WR position. why is that?

    Wayne

    Hilton

    Rogers

    Whalen

    Brazill

(Fleener) <<< he could be used in the slot position at times with his size and speed.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with our WR's. but if we had to sign one, I would like for us to sign Devin Hester. he could help in the ST's department, and he could be a deep threat for us. decent hands, great speed. put him and Hilton on the field together, who does the other team put their fastest DB on the most? or could leave Wayne open at times also.

That being said, WR is not one of our " biggest needs ". prefer us to shore up our interior line and defense before thinking about WR's. not unless somehow we were able to trade up into one of the top 5 picks and draft Sammy Watkins. which def. wont happen.

Dont forget about Allen. The man is a beast with solid hands and a good receiving TE that creates mismatch hell when paired with Fleener and the rest of our WRs.

  5. Ya ok. Because its not like we are the only people that say or think the FO should do this or that. Just because a reporter or NFLAM say we need certain needs does not put one in front of the other. Also FA has two more days before it begins and we can sign outside guys that were not released, so who knows what will happen. Personally I think the McAfee move was done with the idea in mind that he will handle all three duties, so that was a no brainier and Satele was going to be cut no matter what also a no brainier.

  6. You do know that the Colts secondary last year was called the "No Fly Zone" before everyone got hurt during/after the Denver game right? Up till than they were playing that way too. Personally I like that name better because we are not following or trying to copy a name from a different team.

  7. I was sitting in class when I received the announcement on my phone. Screamed * ya and everyone gave me a strange look. I dont care though this is a positive step moving forward for the colts. Bye Bye Satele!

  8. Before everyone hates on Landry remember that without him we could have been very easily a 9-7 team. Yes he missed some plays but he also mad some game saving plays especially early in the season, that can really determine the outcome of a season. IMO let Bethea walk and pair Landry up with a good cover safety like Byrd or somebody else that hopefully Grigs will bring in.

  9. No doubt we need to bring Vontae back but I think we should let Bethea walk. Dont get me wrong I love Bethea and think he was a good player in his prime but that time has past. I also think we should resign Pat and let him handle all three duties, punting, kickoffs, and kicking extra points/field goals. The oline scares me now with Mack receiving that tag today, looks like we could be in for another season of subpar oline play. As for wide receivers, I dont think Decker is our solution, yes he is good but so are our other receivers, DaRick and Brazill dont get enough credit and I believe they will both become players like Garcon once they are done playing for the colts. Plus, dont forget that we will be getting Allen back and he is a receiver in himself along with Fleener. I hope Toler can grow a pair of balls and play a whole season this next year. With him in plus what ever addition we add to replace Bethea, our new CFL product in Muamba, and the rest of FA and the draft I think our D can be top 10 for sure. This up and coming season could be our year we just have to be aggressive and go get it. We got all the pieces on offence to do it, besides the line. We just need to build up that monster a little more on D and we will be super bowl bound in Arizona next year!!!!!! Go Colts

  10. My dad is a Pats fan and one year when I was younger the Colts and Pats were playing on TV, I believe it was one of Peytons first few seasons with the team but it could have been before his time too I don't remember. Anyways, I was cheering against my dads team and the Colts won. Later that same season I saw the Colts play the Vikings on TV close around the holidays, I from South Dakota so the Viks are always on TV and I hated the Vikqueens, and they won again and ever since they were my team. My dad and both my younger brothers are Pats fans so it gets pretty heated when they play each other. I wish I could remember what year it was but I was young, late 90's early 2000's, and it was defiantly before the Colts Pats rivalry with Brady begin.
