Obvious pick is obvious.

darn, you got me for a second there!

Peyton Manning is the clear nr. 1. Other than him, I like Revis and Rodgers.
-
Saints by far.

So much for the lack of strength criticism.

For a myriad of reasons. Don't have great WR's. Old running game. Average defense. Questionable pass blocking
O-line.
I honestly don't see what was so appealing to Peyton when you really stack the other teams against the Broncos.
I don't even think they'll win that division this year.
Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Julius Thomas, FA receiver or draft (AJ Jenkins, Chris Givens, Joe Adams, Ryan Broyles) and possibly Dallas Clark are quality weapons, all of whom Manning will make great. Running game is solid with McGahee and Moreno. They'll likely get a RB (Polk, Martin) in the draft. That's a nice trio. Their defense is definitely not average - it's above average and will only get better. Without that D we would even be talking about Tebow time last year.
I agree that the o-line is not the best at pass blocking, then again.. Manning was Manning behind a often crappy Colts o-line, so he should be fine. At least they have a pro bowl LT in Ryan Clady and they are likely going to bring in Saturday who is an upgrade over Walton.
-
I really don't know what Manning saw in Denver. They don't really have any weapons for him to throw to.
Nonsense. Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Julias Thomas and possibly Dallas Clark are all nice weapons.
Yes, they need a quality guy in the slot, but you can count on them getting at least one WR in the draft.

heck no!

Are you watching, Grigson?
-
One word: Lattimore.
-
Yep, Lloyd's not good at all. Only has one of the best YPC in the entire NFL. Imagine what he'll do with Brady throwing to him.
Never mind what it'll do for Gronk, Hernandez, and Welker...
When did I write that he wasn't good or wouldn't be productive in any kind of way? Read again, buddy.
I just don't see Lloyd as anything special - unlike Wallace, which is why I'm not bothered by the move. That's all. No reason to "defend" your new player ;)
-
Lloyd isn't anything special. Would have been worried if they had signed Wallace though.
-
I could live with that, but I'd prefer..
Round 1 Pick 1 Andrew Luck QB
Round 2 Pick 34 Coby Fleener TE
Round 3 Pick 65 Chris Givens WR
Round 4 Pick 98 Josh Chapman NT
-
No Mike Wallace then?! Wonder if he stays in Pitt.
Watch Denver sign him if they get Manning. Could also see him go to the Niners.
-
I would be happy with Fleener or the best available WR, CB, or NT (if their is a legitimate NT available). Since we might struggle this year and have another high first rounder next year, perhaps we can get a stud WR next year.
Yup, watch us go 2-14 or 3-13 and draft Robert Woods.
-
We'll get Lattimore next year.
-
Lay off the crack pipe.
-
Luck to Wayne, get used to it.
Let's go, Reggie!
