  1. I am well aware that the Colts are in rebuilding/reloading (whatever you want to call it), but I cannot help thinking what a guy like Fitz could do for this franchise, specifically Luck. He's 29, but he'll probably play into his late 30's (barring any major injury and his skillset/work ethic taken into account), so it's not just a short term move. In other words, we'd have a bona fide nr. 1 receiver. Imagine Fitz, Reggie, TY and our two tightends. My goodness.

We certainly have the cap space, thus his contract obviously wouldn't be a problem. But what would you be willing to give up? A 1st or 2nd, 1st and 3rd? And do you think the Cards would accept? They are not going anywhere, and if they want to  get max value for him on the open market this is probably the time.

  2. 12/18/11 - Patriots 41, Broncos 23

    23/34, 320 yards, 2 TDs no INTs

    1/14/12 - Patriots 45, Broncos 10

    26/34, 363 yards, 6 TDs, 1 INT

    10/7/12 - Patriots 31, Broncos 21

    23/31, 223 yards, 1 TD, no INTs

I'll take my chances with Denver.

Yeah, you can just throw those first two games out of the window. Hint: Tim Tebow. As for the last game, it was Peyton's what.. 5th game for a whole new team? Brady's been playing how many years for the same team? It takes time to gel, and even though Denver's offense is beginning to look a lot better, they're still light years behind what Peyton ran here. Next year, Denver will be scary, and I think they will win it all next season. This season, you'll probably beat them by 10 or so again.
  3. Are you forgetting the 2003 AFCCG? They are 1-1 head to head and Brady is 2-1 in the playoffs. Eli is considered more clutch because the Patriots defense sucks?

I just wrote that Brady had outdone Peyton too. Having trouble reading? I just pointed to the fact that Manning got the latest big game, and since then Brady has developed a Manning complex in big games by losing to Eli twice. That's a facet. Let's see if he can get rid of it this season in the playoffs when they meet Denver or in the SB against the Giants.
  4. No, there isn't, otherwise you Colt fans would have complained when the Colts ran up the score in games against Denver and others during Peyton's career in Indy.

Please. Running up the score does not exist in professional sports. Not one of those athletes on the field would agree with you.

Yes, it does, and why would I complain if my own team ran up the score? It's my team. Naturally I'd only complain when other teams do it. That doesn't mean that "running up the score" doesn't exist though. And yes, actually athletes would - not every of course but some, which is evident in said athletes reaction when it happens. They get annoyed and/or angry or they can choose to forfeit (go watch curling). It's pretty obvious, and you'd know this if you'd actually bother to watch anything besides American sports (even though it's also evident in football, basketball etc.). It's evident in soccer, handball and other sports.
  5. Using that logic, Brady has outdone Peyton several times, head to head 9-4...see how it doesn't work? The Giants outplayed the Patriots but statistically Brady outplayed Eli.

Outdoing isn't always related to statistics. It's about winning. So yes, by looking at the wins Brady has outdone Peyton, but so has Peyton in the AFCCG. Eli has outdone Brady twice by being more clutch than Brady, thus beating him at something Brady is supposed to be the best at.
