  1. Just re-watching the Titans game right now. At about 6:35 in the second qtr Luck gets blind sided on third down. He appears to tuck the ball with his left arm and puts his right arm out to brace the fall. Looks like an awkward landing... that's my guess as too which play the injury took place.

It was Orakpo beating Costanzo untouched on that play. But Costanzo appears to pick Luck up off the turf by his right arm immediately afterward so.. maybe not the play lol

  2. I thought Mewhort played really well at right tackle against a great DL. And I'm willing to go with Irving and Moore at ILB from here on, both are younger than the incumbent starters with WAY more upside potential.

  3. Grigs traded up to get him in the 3rd he really stepped up when Reggie went down had 224 yards 3rd most in playoff history vs KC. He has speed to burn can score just about anytime he touches the ball you think he is expendable.  He had 860 yards his rookie year then 1,083 last year while having a score of 70+ yards both years. Notice a pattern? He is arguably our best WR and you don't think he is worth keeping(the definition of expendable).

You don't think it would be a detriment to the team not have TY Hilton next year? Or Fleener for that matter. I wonder what #12 would say about that.

I like Rogers as much as anyone and love his potential key word potential. But that is nuts. Next yr you want to roll with  Moncrief who hasn't even played a down in the NFL and an undrafted FA that had one big game and a great catch and Nicks who is on a prove it contract because his play has slipped so much. While trading our expendable WR who looks like he could be a star in this league for the foreseeable future. I am not on board with that at all. I don't think Grigs will be moving in that direction either.

WR's usually take a little time to develop I think you are way off on Hilton you don't trade a guy like that unless he is unreasonable with contract demands don't see that being the case with TY could be wrong but I think he likes being a Colt and I think Grigs understands his value to the team. I think you vastly undervalue him as a player OH we will just go grab another guy with 4.3 speed who can ball like TY no big deal. Really?

I totally agree about TY man, you don't trade a guy like that. If anything (and I'm by no means championing this idea either) I would develop both Rogers and Moncrief, and then trade one of them, because of the similarities of their skill sets. You trade the guy who's replacement is already on the roster, and thats only the case if gonna trade WR, which is unlikely.

  4. Lol. Gotcha. My bad. I am without power now for over 6 hours. We had a storm that knocked half of Evansville's power out. Been multitasking from my phone all night. Had to sit in the car while my phone charged to watch the Draft. I am a little off of my game for sure.

    Now that, Is dedication. haha

  5. 21isSuperman said G. Listed as OT. You're wrong. I said we will not draft a C, we drafted a OT who will be kicked into G obviously with Castonzo & Cherlius being our best 2 lineman.

    End of discussion

    *Walks into shadows*

Please enjoy your 15 minutes as internet hero in silence, reading your post in this thread has been exhausting.

  6. I dont think Muamba is in Indy to compete at any other position than ILB, I watch a fair amount of CFL, and compared to Freeman, I didn't think Muamba was as dominant, the potential maybe be there, but I'm not expected him to step in and make the Immediate impact that Freeman did in his first year. At best Muamba will be a practice roster player who may work his way into the lineup as a ST / rotational type player.

  7. Hmmm Thomas DeCoud? From the Falcons secondary?

And Martin basically replaced Khaled Holmes at USC. So that would be interesting if he is still available at our first pick.

Granted his play dropped off in 2013 but DeCoud was a pro-bowl FS in 2012, and who on the Falcons had a good season in 2013, I view him as a possible stop gap player until a long term solution can be found, similar to D'qwell Jackson. Where as Martin who should/could be available in the second round would be an upgrade over Satelle (the same could be said about my sister) with a high ceiling could develop into an O-line keystone in a few years.

  8. I think a good one or two year deal would make Nicks a good pick up.

It doesn't hurt that he came out and said that he would love to catch passes for Luck.

I think this could be our last big signing if we get Nicks. I believe it is between Mack and Nicks at this point.

I don't mind the Idea of signing Nicks, and a guy like Thomas DeCoud at FS, and then Drafting this guy at C http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1851125/marcus-martin

  9. I'm not basing what I said on size. I understand that most of them are taller than TY.  I was basing it on their play (example:  Matthews gets alligator arms going over the middle).  Most, do not explode out of cuts or they play small.

IMO, most will disappear in the NFL.  I hope they all have good careers, I just don't want them on the Colts.  If we need depth, why not bring in an UDFA and give them a chance.

For what it's worth, from everything I have read about this years WR draft class. It seems to be regarded as one of the deepest in recent memory. I like Moncrief in the second round, or Martavis Bryant in the third.
