  1. Not every good player is going to show up on the stat sheet. There are even times when Watt himself won't show up (on the stat sheet), but his presence at the line will impact the play regardless, with his teammates reaping the benefits. Cush, JoJo, Swearinger, Lewis, these guys have been solid for us. Watt, of course, will get all of the attention because of who he is, and he definitely deserves it. But it's a myth that he is the only player who ever does anything in this defense.

Right on I watched all Texans games just seemed like a below average front 7 minus Watt maybe he is just so good everyone else look like they are in slow motion . I guess with all the talk about there D I expected a bunch of game changers .

  2. Can you also list which Qbs/receivers these CBs have gone up against thus far? I think that would also shed some light on these numbers as in fairness, Davis has gone up against the Titans, Jags and Ravens whereas Sherman has faced the Broncos, Packers, and Chargers.

You left out the Broncos and Eagles . He's faced 3 of the best passing teams in the NFL and shut them down like Revis use to do well he did last week he looked like his old self .

  3. Vontae Davis is king.

Knock on wood, is it me or have the players gotten used to the newer CBA rules better and teams have adapted their training better to have lesser players on IR this year? Compared to last year after 5 games, I am leaning towards thinking that there have been lesser players on IR this year, am I wrong?

Dustin, my stat man, help me out here.

I think the Colts just got rid of the injury bug finally a lot of team have a bunch of players out or on IR . Seems we sent that pesky injury bug to the chargers the Brown they are dropping like flies .

  4. Not surprising there were no flags when there should have been. Offsetting so it wouldn't have helped but you know it would at least make the refs look a little better.

Both would have been on Seattle don't listen to these talking heads they have a love affair with Seattle and Wilson

  5. Yes, I believe you can.  I've seen it happen numerous times (especially to RG3) and can't remember a penalty being thrown.

Ty sir I wasn't sure you see it in college a lot but wasn't sure about the NFL . You usually see QB's run backwards not up toward the line with arms tucked after handing it off . Seems like teams would pop him if they could there .
