  1. Our guys get exactly one day to enjoy then on to Buffalo.  We can't overlook them as a team we're "supposed" to beat.  However, I expected us to be 1 and 1 at this time, we lost one we should have won and won won no one expected (say that 3 times fast, LOL!)  One game at a time...

As fans you get a week to revel in victory.  Buffalo vs. Chargers should be a great game next Sunday.

  2. I thought that only the HC could call a timeout from the sideline?

That is what many are saying, but in all honesty if someone behind you yells time out it would be tough to tell if it is the head coach... or just some random guy. Especially if you are trying to keep an eye on the play among other things.

  3. Yup, even in the preseason he displayed that high-risk style, namely on this play here.

The guy just doesn't play smart. Ask Peyton how to stay injury-free and he'd say you have to know when to hit the ground. Peyton would sometimes fall down before he even got touched! That's not about pride, it's about playing smart. You're no good to your team on the bench.

In the first game against the Texans he was getting hit early, often, and hard... and that was more of the o-lines fault over in DC. That game he was running for his life. He took three hard shots including one by JJ Watt in the first half. I think it was a recipe for disaster from the start for Griffin III.

Having said that even smart guys get hurt too, and some of those hits will catch up with you in the long run. You have to protect the qb.

  4. What a great game - I HATE close games... until we win them ;-)!  Our D won this one on the back end.  That's the biggest improvement in our team.  We haven't heard a word on Ryan Mathew - DANG!  His knee looked bad...

You guys took down the champs... so enjoy the week of celebrating.

  5. KC stayed alive in this game due to their running game, and some timely defensive stops.  They stayed with it even when behind, and for some strange reason they were able to get some things going with their tight ends. Our tight ends(colts) who are better than the Chiefs we could barely get any production until late with Dwayne Allen, and we abandoned our running game.  The Chiefs don't even have half of our offense, and even they were able to almost knock off Denver at home.  I'm even more upset we didn't take the Broncos down like we should have.  I don't see any reason why we shouldn't beat them if given another opportunity.

    You mean Dwayne Bowe?!?
