I definitely think pass rush and running the ball our the 2 biggest weaknesses on the Colts right now. Next offseason we need to address this by bringing in some help at OLB and maybe DE since Werner doesn't seem to be a game wrecker as Pagano likes to put it in regards to pass rushing.
OL looks decent in pass blocking but maybe with some better offensive play calling we can generate more of a running game.
Luck and the weapons he has should be fine though. Just some lack of communication and dropped passes at times.
How could you tell the run game was bad because when Richardson had the ball he looked good, but they were behind so there was a lot of passing to the backs. Richardson had 30 yards, and Bradshaw 70.

Luck was throwing to Bradshaw who had 70 yards. There are a lot of weapons, and not everyone will be happy. Not enough passes to go around tonight. Plus he dropped one.

The refs were a factor in other games not ours. The one defensive holding call in the San Francisco vs. Dallas game in which the guy never touched the other player was pretty terrible.

All in all, I think you have to feel good about our defense after the 2nd half. They're a young group missing their best player and they played tough on the road against the best QB in football. I think there were a lot of encouraging things on the field tonight. Let's hope the 2nd half Colts and the 1st half Eagles show up to Lucas Oil next Monday.
Corners good and safety bad, but they improved at the end.

I would be too if I were Denver. The brought in new guys, and the defense is the same way.

A lot of good teams lost, and some bad teams won. We as Colts fans have no reason to hang our heads. Reggie is back.

Peyton Manning officially won every NFL team including the Colts with tonight's Broncos win.
Favre did it first... and they asked Peyton who said it made him feel old, hehehe.

Andrew Luck was 35 of 53 for 370... and 70 went to Bradshaw, 98 to Wayne. They had to get away from the run, but the backs had more passing yards than running.

Close game. We can blame the refs all we want, but the Colts simply didn't come ready to play in the first half. Let's try to fix things up for next week. Thanks to everyone for coming out to the forum tonight!
The refs were not to blame. I just hope the NFL makes it a point to call out these refs for bad defensive holding calls like the one in the San Fran vs. Dallas game in which they were calling it on plays with little, or no contact. Then get on them for throwing flags then saying no penalty. That is my takeaway from week one of football.

Peps play call once again comes in question
The play at the goal line was goofy, but they had other chances to win. Peyton should consider himself very lucky... and the media crowning them is a failure. The Denver defense is still what we thought they were. Not very good.

Adams was worse. Landry had a pretty good run at Peyton early on.
