and on that note... Kelly was also excellent in college. he at least deserved (deserves) a chance.
yet it is simply accepted by many here... that there is no way Kelly could possibly outperform Brissett.
If he did outperform Brissett, would you give him a starting QB contract & trust him to be the face of the franchise going forward?

if the jags beat us on Sunday wouldn't we leap over them in terms of draft position?
IDK where the Jags would draft, but here's the scoop on the Colts' position according to the IndyStar:
QuoteA loss in Jacksonville on Sunday and the Colts' best case scenario is 11th. The worst case scenario is 15th. A win in Jacksonville and the best case scenario is staying where they are (16th), with the worst being 19th.

We don't know what level of interest the Colts may (or may not) have in Fromm, but surely he can improve to some degree on his arm strength & pocket presence if he's willing to work at it.
It will be interesting to see how things play out this off-season. The Colts may not draft a QB early. Or at all. IMO they should.

The Colts would have to score...

One yard pass on 3rd and 2. Story of the season.

If you want a larger sample size of Jordan Love, here is a great video!
IDK who #87 is for Utah State, but that catch he made at the 4:00 mark was incredible...

Overall, I like what you're doing with this mock.
They may decide to go QB in the first to make sure they get their guy & lock in that 5th year option?
Like the Pittman pick, I'm no draftnik but he seems a little underrated to me on some of the draft sites.
Interested to see how the draft/FA plays out this off-season.

Looks like whoever it is, their first name will likely start with a 'J'.
Maybe we could draft Jordan Love & Jalen Hurts and platoon them in a Love/Hurts offense?
Seriously, IDK what the answer is. But I think the Colts brass has an idea & I'm eager to find out.

As Dandy Don Meredith would say...
Most likely.

What's with all these hand injuries?
Lot's of tomahawk chopping by defenders trying to cause fumbles.

He graduated Terra Nova high school in 2015. He's a red shirt senior. He should be 22 or 23
Cool. Thanks for digging that up.

I been speaking on J Will since the first day we signed him and even before that. I wanted him when Pagano was here.
I was kind of hoping the Colts would draft him when he came out of Arkansas myself.
Now let's hope he stays healthy, looks like they are going to need to lean on him for a few games.

Kylin Hill
I think Kylin Hill would make for a nice RB tandem with Mack. Great fit attitude-wise with the Colts' run game.
A.J. Dillon out of BC is another 'hammer' back to consider. Earl Campbell, he ain't. But at 6' and 249#, I'd feel pretty good about short yardage & 4th quarter closeouts when guys are tired.

This happened to my uncle just minutes south of castleton. The police felt it was a gang initiation. They pick a house randomly and shoot at it with a new gang member.
That was my first thought in this case.

You can’t tell me a guy who weighs 340+ doesn’t have a mean streak in him. Maybe we have to pull it out of him a little bit by hiding his pregame meal or telling him there is cake and cookie only to find out it’s really tofu cake and cardboard cookies
They could always steal his Z28 before the big game and smash it up & leave it in the parking lot...

Another guy the Colts should consider is Derrick Brown. He’s 6’4” and 315 pounds. He can play the nose but he’s got pass rushing upside that makes him a movable piece after some development. He should be available in the 2nd round. You get him and Wilkins on the same line, and that’s hard to stop.
I liked Brown as a potential Colt too, but he's going back to Auburn for his senior year.

He is one of 4-5 UTs that MAY be available, that I agree, would improve our current defense
Here are the guys I thought might fit that bill, at least until the Colts started moving down the draft order.
Ed Oliver (probably long gone by 25-26)
Jeffery Simmons
Raekwon Davis (returning to Alabama)
Christian Wilkins
Dre'Mont Jones
Gerald Willis may be another guy to consider at some point?

2.5 Billion sounds like a lot. Heck, that would cover about half the Rams' new stadium complex costs...

I expect Grover Stewart may be viewed as a possible in-house replacement?... Not holding my breath for a big splash with Suh.
