  1. He took alot of abuse here from the fanbase, media, and probably Colt's brass too. He seems like a good guy and a good running back.  Hard to argue with 5 yards a carry his last year here

  2. He was the forerunner for guys like Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens, perhaps Keyshawn Johnson too; the prima donnas of the pro sports.

I could never get behind these "me-me-me" guys.  It goes against my personal philosophy.

Deion was a transcendental athlete that didn't need to self-promote. He would have been well-remembered for his play alone. Dousing this guy and basically, humiliating him for unflattering commentary demonstrates Deion's pathological pettiness.  It's textbook bullying and should be beneath a person who has basically been treated as a demigod for most of his life.  World class athlete with not an iota of class as a human-being.

  3. If the Colts win,  it will require a major reclamation project at this point.  After the Tampa win,  they have looked historically bad, and I mean,  putrid, dead in the water, bad. It feels like Pags has lost the locker room and checked out. If Hasselbeck and the Colts brass right this ship Sunday, even the detractors (myself included) will have to concede maybe this team is a little better,  a little tougher than we think.

  4. I bet Ahmad Bradshaw has taken more snaps than our first and second draft picks combined.

Our third round pick is on IR.

All four of Grigson's first rounders have played very little this year.

    Coincidentally, I suppose.

  5. Cowher has the toughness this organization would need.  No doubt he could coach up a defense and put together a staff of hard-nosed,  old school coordinators.

But, I also remember Cowher for his bone headed decisions during games.  I remember his teams consistently underachieving in the playoffs before they finally pulled off their improbable championship run in 2005. This guy was on the hot seat those last few seasons.

Of course,  he never truly had a franchise QB until Big Ben got drafted

    Grigson's offensive line moves:

Drafted Hugh Thornton (bust) and Khaled Holmes (bust)

    Signed Todd Herremans (bust)

Overpaid a mediocre right tackle in Gosder Cherlius

Signed C Samson Satele and RG Mike McGlynn (ha ha)

Grigson is not capable of building an offensive line. The only slightly positive move he made was drafting Jack Mewhort. You can argue he overpaid Castonzo and Reitz (at the time as a depth player) as well.

Thanks,  I tried to argue this in another thread. I'm not convinced Grigson knows how to do it.

I dare someone argue that he does know how to do it, and chooses not to

  7. I'm just stating the obvious here: Grigson doesn't know what he's doing. You guys have already hit on a number of complaints. If you come in here under the mantra of "run the ball/stop the run," and 4 years into the build process you haven't improved at all, what else needs to be said? There's nothing left to evaluate with this staff.

The whiffs on first round draft picks and the misspent money on free agents have taken its toll. This team is long in tooth at some critical positions and just plain bad at others.  It's not only time for a new regime,  this team is going to need a considerable overhaul.
