I realize that we’re starting younger players. We have our second string quarterback ss well. But here is the paradox. They played well against Pittsburgh and were embarrassed by Atlanta. There are enough good players to make the post season but I’m tired of excuses and “my fault” from the coaches.
Coach better, make adjustments and challenge players to play better. I hope on film day this week including a **s chewing. Changing the culture means holding players accountable for crap games like last Sunday.- 2

This is a little ridiculous. Colts did not do this. Take some accountability. Maybe he wasn’t the leader we thought and more of the problem.
Way to burn bridges and tick off the fan base

He knows his defense football however he rarely blitzes. He relies on the front four and like all day he had no answers to the lack of pressure. That makes me want to leave after the season.
I understand that we are playing with house money if Minchew succeeds it raises our expectations so we are allowed to be disgusted on the crap show in Atlanta

This!! I’ve been saying this same thing for years. Taylor is NOT nearly as effective out of the shotgun. His ability with that running head start to make those cutbacks with a QB under center helps make him elite. Out of the shotgun, he doesn’t have any momentum. & it doesn’t help our right side of the line has been very inconsistent lately with blocking.
I understand it fits his offense. But, the tape has shown this for the past 3 years.
And yet nothing changes. Listening to the Colts huddle and all you hear is how good Atlanta is and we need to get better. The job of a head coach is to make adjustments during the game. Steichen is showing he is a rookie head coach but Bradley is a veteran that has enough experience to make charges but he rarely does

That’s tough, at least two years on the IR. I was hoping he’d be more durable but that’s football.

As l observed, our 1st drive which resulted in a TD, ATL was in their base defense.
From there on they began to blitz to apply more pressure on Minshew which worked.
We on the other hand couldn't get pressure on ATLs and didn't make adjustments.
SS said in the post game presser that the objective is to keep plays in front of the secondary. Basically a perpetual soft zone.
So l don't see any help with pressure coming soon.
Also, did anyone else see how wide open the middle is in some of our defensive packages? Goodness....
We have a first year head coach, and he has missed quite a few adjustments that could’ve been made. And look at Bradley he never changed anything. We are one of the lowest blitzing team in the league. You would think when things get bad you might change things up, but in all of our losses, it was adjustments made by our opponents to beat us, and we could not react in kind.

The Colts have been playing inconsistently and the games coming up may be very difficult. The Raiders defense is playing well and Houston should have Stroud back this week. I sure hope I am wrong but we have shot ourselves in the the foot too many times and lost chances

That's fine, but the goal of any GM and his staff is to get their team in the playoffs. If they don't do that owners move on and another GM + staff gets a shot. And sure, a franchise can be unlucky and string together a series of bad or unsuccessful GMs, but very few owners just lean back and let one GM have at it indefinitely. At some point a new outlook is needed.
Shane had a bad game too. Atlanta made corrections in the second half we didn’t change anything and it was obvious
I mean for heaven sakes if Taylor can’t get yards. Try using Sermon and Goodman earlier in the game

I certainly hope so. I’m sick and tired of us playing 10 yards off on a 5 yard play for a first down. Atlanta played well man on man and shut us down. The lack of a pass rush and players not in place made this a long day. His strategies are way too outdated for today’s football.

A few thoughts:
1 - Without Pittman, our receiving corps is nada. Double Downs, and watch Pierce not catch anything. Or simply have nobody get open.
2 - What's up with our vaunted OL and DL completely disappearing every other game?
3 - No sacks. None. It's like we weren't even rushing the passer.
4 - JT has got to stop running in place behind the offensive line, waiting for a wide-open hole so he can stretch and go long. Hit the seam, and push the line. Quit running in place.
5 - How come they kept slipping through our tacklers' hands? Every single person on defense was wearing gloves. Playing indoors. Take the gloves off. Get a grip on the guy and tackle him. Take the !@#$ gloves off.
6 - Shades of 2021.
Exactly, Taylor was off today and yes he was tentative. I liked the pick we used on Pierce and I give the benefit of being young. However cannot count on him when needed. They let Pierce loose and just added a safety on Downs
Minshew held the ball extremely long but since their defense was taking it all away.
We made a bad team look good today and we can’t have these games and want to succeed. We need another quality receiver and defense back next season
No sacks today lol it was a very lazy output by our rush attack
i hope the team takes steps to get rid of players that don’t give it all every play

It ticks me off that a win today could have us leading the division. And yet another crap show

Bradley’s defense plays so far off the ball. At least 6 times today they allowed their running backs to roll out they ran past then running towards the QB and left them alone for easy screens. So many time we over pursued and hardly any of or linebackers and defensive backs were not in position. A true indictment of Gus Bradley and antiquated defense just kills us. Sometimes they play well and then a game like today. Ballard needs a better more inventive DC in 2024

A total beat down. We couldn’t run the ball and they made Minshew look bad. No excuse for this. Amazing to think if we won and Jacksonville loses we could be leading the division today. Steichen dropped the ball and Bradley defense failed again.
I guess the Colts are very getting moved today for the holidays and they did it with a passion

Well one step forward and then look horrible. I know we have injuries but this is pathetic. Steichen looks lost and Bradley’s defense mindset has let us down again. Lumps of coal all around.

Atlanta plays mostly man to man but our loose zone is horrible

Jekyll and Hyde. You never know what team you’re going to see from the Colts each week. The defense was impressive last week against a good defense and although Atlanta’s defense is solid but at this point we look like nothing works. We can’t run the ball and Minshew looks pitiful

Couldn’t get off the field on third down and look what it got us the D looked lost

That was a massive wreck
I was honored to meet Dan after he we won the 500. It was so improbable that Hillebrand hit the wall on the last turn. Dan was so honored to win his second 500 crown. Never met a nicer guy and I was horrified when he crashed in Las Vegas. I can still see his face when I met him after the race he looked like a boy that got what he wanted for Christmas. I’ll never forget that face and I’ll see one day again when we get to heaven.

You can call this what you want, a trap game or a chance to be the lesser team. Either way the team cannot let up the preparation Hass to be perfect. In every head of all the players should be nothing but the very best play to every whistle.
