I love that article! The mere fact those thoughts exist reads like the subconscious mind of the Texans. When the Colts score the go ahead lead with 40 seconds left to play all those thoughts are going to come flooding over the Texans.

I said when this whole PM thing went down and he was allowed to walk there better be a real good reason for it. If we were not back in the playoffs and talking about a SB then we should never have let the MVP walk. This season was my expectation. If we were 2-11 rigth now there would be some heads rolling with the way PM is playing.
-
You know the Texans have got be like "what PM for all those years and now we have to deal with AL for another 15!" It has to rub them.
-
When did they pull Schaub last night? What was it? Like 5 minutes left? Can you imagine if we ever did that with PM, no matter what the score? To me thats a team with some quit in them, which means we need to get out to a lead.

We own this division and the power has never truly shifted. This weekend we take a dagger and strike at the heart of their fragile egos. The Texans will do what they always do under pressure: crumble.
-
You are comparing us to the Bengals, end of discussion.
-
We let the greatest player EVER walk out the door, there better had been a real good reason for it!
-
I could not believe the Ravens took a knee with around 30 seconds left in the game and 1 timeout & only needing a field goal to win. I would fire someone for that too.

For those not on the side of BA...did you actually watch the game yesterday? The second Luck's back foot hit his drop he had pressure. You cant say the issue is deep routes when there is no time to throw. Also you ever notice Luck's eyes are looking past the short routes and always looking deep?
Lastly for those comments about certain formations telegraphing plays...what ever happened to saying "we are going to run the ball, try to stop us"!
-
If superbowls are the ultimate yardstick; BA's 2 SB wins > 1 PM win. BA was a fomer college quarterback, you have to assume he knows there are lots of improvements that still can be made.

I dont think it matters what plays are called, it comes down to execution.
-
What number is he?

I see Cutler has already tapped for this weekend too. How do you finish a half after a concussion then cant come back the rest of the game? Or for that matter how do you KNOW you will not be able to go IN THE FUTURE!! Its like somone calling in sick for work on Monday on Friday afternoon.
Also sounds like Urlacher is not backing his QB and I loved the Kravitz "Chicago" remark in the Luck article about his neckbeard
-
How many plays did Cutler play after that hit? I dont get it, the docs cleared him to go back after that hit but he could not play the second half? Did we ever hear if it was the docs that did not allow him? Did Cutler ever stand on the sidelines in the 2nd half?
-
My favorite part was when Luck pushed the lineman back that were coming to protect him when he got hit on the slide.
Also I think it was the center on the TV that was talking.

Do you guys watch Hughes? He gives up on plays, or does not go to the whistle. Two plays come to mind....he has backside responsibility and rushes up field and gets washed and kind of gives up on the play, the running back cuts it back his way and he has lost contain and the back slips right under him. Mathis would have come back and not given up once the play started away from him. The other play was where both Hughes and Freeney were chasing down the QB that had gotten out of the pocket, Freeney had to almost push Hughes out of the way b/c Hughes starting jogging b/c probably thought could not catch the QB.
I just dont see the fight until the end with Hughes.

FJC...I will take the bait..I assume you have some numbers/info to back up the long ball "never a large part' of PM game. So lets hear it. It should be interesting.
-
I guess this is the "wait until you see whats next" comment in the last commerical
-
Are you guys crazy? What 12+ years of fast pace, downfield, long ball, score as many points as you can and watch our D pin its ears back on the other QB is no longer what you want? You want a ball control, running the rock, ugly wins team?
You cant expect a rookie to master the same amount of information that PM acquired after years of experience. But I for one want our old offense philosophy back.
-
Wasn't it Power's who broke up the Browns final play of the game?
-
Watching Denver this year is like watching a highlight real of all the disappointing games or seasons the Colts had. Denver cant stop the run and Peyton has be perfect. Its been the game plan for years now against him...run the ball, control the clock and give Peyton as few opportunties as possible.
If the old Colts got a lead on someone is was over, Denver D is not giving them the chance for that lead.

I dont remember when it happend, but there was a long pass that was broken up in the end zone. If that ball was thrown to the outside shoulder he could have walked in for a TD, instead was thrown to the inside and broke up.

I am growing tired of Whitlock, from his constant racist perspectives, to his constant reminders that he played in college to him calling a quarterback just a few days ago "mediocre" that has WON 2 SUPERBOWLS in the CLUTCH, thats right Eli!!
Come on, here was Peyton batteling back in that game, how many of you thought if he just had that ball 1 more time he could pull out the win? How many others QB's can you EVER say that about?
-
Powers break up of the high pass in the end zone was pretty, its been a while since I remember a Cotls DB able to do that. Anybody got video of that?
We should lose on Sunday...

How many years did we rest and what did that get us? If they can take down the Texans they will know going into the playoffs that they just took down the number one seed. That my friends is a powerful confidence to ride a wave on.
