I see where Irsay himself was agreeing with me on one of the other topics.
I also started the topic of a bold prediction that the bills were going to be a surprise team this year (I must be right about that too). as mentioned in that thread that the year before I picked the seahawks as a surprise team but didn't mention it so when I looked at the bills this year thought I would star a topic on them

later in the game it was 3rds vs 3rds. Don't exaggerate it that much. that rookie qb that isn't manuel is technically their third anyways since Kolb is injured. yeah i of course meanr our deep bench guys. Our starters-maybe even dime back looked fine to me.

Kolb didn't play nor did their #1 wr S Johnson I think his name is. if they would have played it would have been 100 to 20

I understand this is only preseason.. but I don't understand how we can talk about "no game plan" need time to work together etc. well doesn't the bills need the same?
and playing at home like this? it was the bills first preseason game also with 2 rookie qb's. this is not something to take lightly. I wish it were but there is something very wrong with this.

I was so excited about chapman and the way he pushed 4 of our OL down on one play, and the best he can do is hold his own against their 3rd string. this really tells me it was more our OL that is so weak was the reason he was able to do that in practice against our first string OL

Bills QB's a rookie and an unheard of are 87 and 76% completions. this is not acceptable

It is hard to take anything away from this. We don't really create a specific game plan until the final preseason game. It is going to take time for these guys to get together. Our initial run D looked OK outside of those 1st two big runs by Spiller. The DBs looked decent.
Our O-line is going to take some time to gel. I personally think 2 of the players that started today may not start after the bye week (Satele, McGlynn). We shall see.......1st preseason game.
And I guess the Bills created a specific game plan against us? the run D gave their started 9 yards a carry. hope your right about Satele and McGlynn

I really thought our backups would be better this year. does anyone who is watching this game see anything positive to report.
I'm not seeing any of the names on the D side making plays that I thought would be so much improvement.

I have only one fear in my bold prediction------Tim Tebow
really!! because he is such a good man and after it looked like he would not play in the nfl again and there was so many mean things said about him, he got on the only team that could use him in the best possible way. with their te shortage the pats i feel will change their O and use him in some way (not as a qb) but in some way that he can rally the team. it would almost be some kind of justice for his mistreatment.

The Texans will also be out of a bye week and will be at home. Last year we played very poorly on the road against any decent team and we have not been good in Houston for a while. Also, we will have to stop Arian Foster after a weeks rest at his home and we have yet to do that.

Hernandez was an All American caliber TE in college and an All Pro caliber TE in the Pro's.
Of course TT would likely not equal his output. But then again I would never sell that dude short on effort.
If anyone could do it . ... it will be him. If NE does it I guarantee Tebow will be productive and an asset.
Like i say i think TT is a good football player and very well could shine. but i think it will be either/or shine a bit and get injuried. he did have concussion in college. and the way NE would benefit from him is using him in a way that could cause more of them

I like Tebow and think he could replace hernandez but i also think he will be injuried playing a different position full time.

Hate the patriots hope your right I'd love to see them lose I do think the bills could be good I like Kolb if he can get some protection and the bills actually start him I think he could be a good starting QB
Yes I agree I think he can, but I also think the Rookie qb could start and do well. I don't believe he was used to his best skill set at FSU

Tom Brady does not make any wr good ie. Lloyd and Chad. he is more a system qb (a good one though) a system qb could do the same as the back up qb the year TB was injuried i recall 11/5 that year. with TB getting a bit older and not having his te's and wes i'm thinking he will take a step backward (not to mention no cheating) maybe bb can find another way to do that though.

So the Patriots finish 3rd in the division? Ok.
This is a part of my big prediction. check the roster of the bills look at the OL--- better #2 wr---and i think the qb situation will be much improved also.
the changes in the D will work for them especially with some of the talent on the D.

Bills 11/5 prediction here is that the Pats will only go 8/8 and i like the looks of the Bills this year (had the same feeling about the hawks last year but did not make any predictions)
