Game sorry posted this from my phone

I was watching the pre game show for the fame tonight and Jim Brown pretty much dogged trent in every way when asked what he thought about the trade. No disrespect intended towards brown since he is one of the all time greats but I don't know what his problem is with trent. Rich was projected as the best rb to come out since peterson and he has all the intangibles to be great. Am I missing something here???

I just wanna give a shout out to Matt for being a great player and person on and off the field. It seems like every time the colts are doing something in the community or even just visiting children to brighten up their day, he is always there. In every picture posted Matt is always in it and I think that's a great thing. This is the kind of player and players that this team needs to build a strong nucleus and win together for years to come. Thanks Matt

The saints gave him a four year contract worth 14 million with 6 million guaranteed... a bargain price considering he's a game breaker and triple threat in the passing, rushing, and return game... and a fantasy stud might I add
-
We had an opportunity to sign him and I dont think we showed any interest. Not sure why...
-
I know he isn't going to play but it would make me feel a little better if havili was in front of rich, not hughes. It takes time to gain chemistry between a fullback and rb. I don't expect hughes to be anywhere near the level of blocking that stanley is at and that's unfortunate since this is one of our biggest games of the seasonPretty doubtful if you look at today's roster move.

I hope he doesn't miss a significant amount of time. He is a good pass catcher as a check down option and his bruising run blocking has been very underrated. He has been a great acquisition for us and fits well in the scheme. Hughes is a smaller fullback and I'm concerned he won't be able to hold his own against 250 pound linebackers and safeties coming down to help in run support. Hopefully stanley gets healthy in a hurry. Could really use him against seattle...

Injuries have lingered around bradshaw his whole career. Maybe not any one specific injury but he consistently gets hurt which is why we might be tempted to let him walk... Just my opinion. Don't get me wrong he runs like a beast but injuries slow him a lotThat would happen only if Bradshaws injuries linger

My thoughts exactly. Who knows maybe williams develops into something. Kind of has that scat back labelRichardson, Ballard, a later round/free agent scat back.

With the trade for rich and ahmad running with a purpose, what do you think will become of ballard next year?? Do we keep him and let ahmad and db walk? There are several options but I personally would keep vick to back up trent, that is if we don't give bradshaw a new contract. We all know trent will be the starter long term but all of a sudden we seem to have plenty of options at rb going into next season. Thoughts??

Denver has proved they are the only team who looks unstoppable. We will have to see one game at a time. Lets focus on the hawks for now
-
Our whole secondary is playing better since they are now able to feed off the pass rush. Keep pressuring the qb and watch our secondary flourish
-
Freeman is also providing pressure up the middle and has improved his pass rushing ability immensely along with his tackling machine mentality
-
Just needed some good coaching and help to stay on the right path off the field and we are now reaping the benefits. Love the way he covers and is not afraid to hit somebody
-
Yea after the game, not during. Just thought it was strange that's allHalf the team will be in a ice bath after the game, so no.
-
Seen luck standing on the sideline with ice on his throwing hand/wrist... should we be concerned??? I hope its just a bump and nothing serious...
-
Didn't see this one coming

I thought werner consistently got pressure on kap and was easily around his blocker time and time again. I think with a little better technique he will turn those pressures into more sacks. Light years ahead of jerry hughes... Don't judge bjoern just yet I actually think he might be something special. And lets not forgot before the draft some considered him a top ten pick
-
Perhaps they will just go with the hot hand regardless of who actually starts the game
-
Will rich start this week against the jags now that he will have another week to get acclimated to the playbook or do we stick with bradshaw?? Pagano said he wants him to be the work horse but bradshaw has been solid... Thoughts???
-
Slowly working connor back from the injury that's why sheppard played most of the game. As long as pat is out connor will start from now on with freeman
-
If our defense plays like it did today against seattle, we stand a legitimate chance of winning. And personally I would love to watch sherman walk off the field with nothing to say...biggest mouth ever
-
Extremely effective when rush linebackers or d-ends get up the field too fast, as seen today. I think we are going to see a lot more draws and delayed handoffs to slow down the pass rush
-
Dang it, I guess you both got me...shucks
Not even at full strength

I can't help but get excited when I see our team beating quality football teams and doing so without key players in the lineup. We have played without ricky jean, landry, havili, bradshaw, and werner, and yet we still grind out victories. Next man up has never been more appropriate to say than now. Getting these players back can only help and only proves that we have good depth on our team for the first time in a long time. Oh and not to mention we already lost allen and thomas, so it's very easy to see this team going far.
