Harper still interests me. I liked him out of college too, but wasnt willing to spend a high draft pick on a receiver. In college he had some solid hands but in seattle he had a few surprisingly bad drops (one for a touchdown) but out of a ton of guys who got cut, he's one who I wouldn't mind bringing in for a look.I want Chris Harper. Wanted him since round 3 of the draft. I like him a lot.

I've never seen so much anger over a team cutting a 3rd string D-tackle.

Granted, it is a section of the internet set aside for discussing the Colts, but I agree that some of the angry big-headed armchair GM's on here get very annoying.

Chase Thomas got cut? I think he's worth a shot, sort of like a mini Erik Walden? Liked him out of college, but after getting cut, maybe not as much.

I feel a hybrid philosophy with just about everything works the best rather than a strict-straight forward approach that never changes. So I feel our defense right now is fine on formation and changes- a 3-4 hybrid base that still plays some 4-3 about 40% of the time.

Always a little surprising to see a player like Nevis let go, who gave it his all on every single play, especially a player on the D-line. I would've liked to see Asante make it over Gordy, but that's just not what happened. I wanted to see Price polish his game and his brain a little bit more to earn a roster spot to go along with his intangibles, but he just didn't work hard enough for it. My highest hopes were for Adongo, who really was always a longshot to make the roster, but any guy who has that much raw potential and the guts to walk away from the highest level of professional rugby in another continent has got heart. And out of all the players that were cut, I hope he gets signed to the practice squad the most.
In the end, I believe in our Front Office- In Grigs We Trust- yeah, still rings true.

OK, I think we could have some use for a few comparisons here.
Obviously here, we have the Colt's current home/away uniforms
As you can tell, the Colt's uniforms haven't changed much from the old days of Johnny Unitas and Art Donovan
And lastly, we have a old rumored Nike Alternative Uniform set, along with a random blue/black uniform set for all you wondering how that would luck (in this case, these are one of Kentucky's alternate uniforms)
So there you have it. I felt it was best to lay out in an unbiased way, all the different possible uniform combinations that have been brought up so that you could decide for your own. Visualization always helps me, so maybe it helps you too.

I don't think anyone sees any legitimate reason to cut Caesar Rayford. Everyone speaks of how it would be incredibly dumb to cut him (obviously). And also, every fan and his brother thinks that they could manage the team better than the actual GM, so I think it's time to stop acting like that's true, and let the front office do their job.

I'm starting to think Grig's offense-heavy first draft has made everyone more offense-hungry than needed. I'm all for offensive upgrades, but we can't just keep drafting for offense and expect a plug-n-play free agent to perform like a great starter on our defense. Under our new management, we have more focus on defense than ever, and will be drafting accordingly.

Great to see if our secondary steps up bigtime compared to last year- and would open up our early picks for next year's draft to be spent in other areas (D-line, line-backers?)

You can never have enough young talent- it keeps the championships coming. Also, always keep churning. If they've served there purpose, then they're on the downfall and it's time to replace.

Speaking of Madden, if you order the 25'th Anniversary edition from Amazon for $99, you get the online version of NFL Sunday Ticket. Not a bad deal for NFL fans that don't have access to DirecTV.
Wait... WHAT
This is my very strong opinion for success on D
in Colts Football
