No way. Old, standard 4-3 end, and expensive.
-
I wasn't that impressed with him on tape, especially against the better competition. He doesn't have that great of a fundamental base, relies on quickness to round the offensive tackles.
-
Seems cool to me. Gaines isnt my favorite corner for the 3rd round, but I could certainly live with it.
-
It looks good, but if a stud falls somehow (Attaochu, Murphy, Tuitt), I'd take them any day. And I hope Terrence Brooks is still there when we pick in the 3rd, he's the best 2nd day safety to me. And sure, I'll join in saying that I wish the trade would go through, but it won't.
-
At the moment, I'd go with SJB, but I haven't done my due diligence on safeties yet.
-
I don't know enough on Ward to really judge him, but if he's a fly-around poor man's Byrd kind of player, then it sounds great to me.
Oh and I love Smith, but don't think we should go after Mack for his price.

It gives the Colts the option to go best player available on defense with their 2nd and 3rd round picks. I still expect another OG or C signing. Grigson likes experienced players on the OL since they are already developed. With that said, I hope our picks are as follows...
2nd- OLB Marcus Smith
3rd- FS Dion Bailey/CB Victor Hampton
Second: Stanley Jean-Baptiste- Nebraska
Third: Kenny Ladler- Vanderbilt
I'm not personally sold on Bailey and I really want Ladler, but the 3rd might be too early for him.

At first I was all for it, but then I took a look at the last contract at its more than I, personally, would be willing to pay.
-
I want this immovable object on our line
-
He surprised me very well last year, but I don't know if he should be a starter next year. Also- can he play free safety?
-
I guess if I had to, I'd choose Nicks.
-
I don't get what everyone's deal is with kicking out Toler. Let the guy show what he can do, he played fairly well last year in my opinion. If we abandoned everyone after a bad performance, then all those fire Pags/pep/manusky threads that appear after every game would have there way, and we'd be in complete chaos.

I was happy with day 1. I wanted to keep Bethea around for 2 more years and draft a young guy to learn behind him, but that's not how it went. But with what's left, I think our options are either Clemons for FS or a center and guard like Detriech-Smith and Nwaneri.

For the sake of picking one, I went with Vontae.
-
I just saw that. And tell me this is a joke.
-
Wait they already have Eric Reid at FS, who's gonna move over?
-
I wonder what the money was. Tough to see him go, and I wish him all the best.
-
I say we keep both and draft Kenny Ladler in the fifth foe betheas replacement. He's basically his clone anyway.
-
This is actually mine exactlyArthur Jones, Evan Dietrich-Smith, Antonio Cromartie
-
For the most part, I like it. But I do t think we should cut Toler or RJF. They've still got plenty to prove. So without those cuta, a few of the signings can't be made. I'd be fine bringing in Cromartie, Jones (might be too much $), EDC, and maybe Nicks. I really do like the draft picks though, although I'm not as high on Daquan Jones as others. I like Easley and Quarles, and certainly wouldn't mind grabbing a mid round pass rusher like Marcus Smith, or one in the 2nd if one fell to us.

THANK GOD. I've been pacing all weekend
-
C'mon Vontae, we love ya and need you back.
-
YEAH!!! Great personality and great leader and player!

It's just a little too much for my taste- the MVT (most valuable team) of free agency never does good the next year. I could take maybe two of those, say La Puente and Houston, but not much else.
CB Mike Jenkins will visit with the Colts tomorrow

Fake tweet. That's ok. It's not like I got my hopes up or anything.
