  1. We haven't fired a head coach mid-season since Ron Meyer and we didn't win till some games later and even then we only won one game that year.

Not saying we will win the game over the Texans but I think the idea that you fire the head coach and then just start winning if flawed.

I could have sworn we won after a coach was fired...but no matter, there are plenty of reasons why we won't win next week beyond that theory.

  2. I don't think we win against the Texans next week. When the Colts fired coaches mid-season, we won the games immediately afterwards. Plus, the texans were beating us pretty soundly until Kubiak had his health scare.

On the other hand, if we fire our coaches first, we might win! (disclaimer: HUMOR ALERT!!!)

I think we can beat the Jags, and really, I expect KC to be resting their players (assuming they can) so we might beat them. (Think about it, if you were going to face someone in the playoffs the following week, would you want to show them your playbook?) Of course we might have the same strategy, so it might be interesting to watch two teams who have no desire to win the game.

So I will go out on a limb and predict 9-7.

  3. Im gonna name a few teams for all the negative fans.

    2005 Steelers

    2006 colts

    2007 giants

    2008 cards

    2010 packers

    2011 giants

    2012 ravens

You wanna know what they all have in common? All of them were expected to have early exits in the playoffs and instead expect for the cards all won the super bowl.

Don't worry, this year our Colts won't disappoint. Unless things improve drastically in the next three weeks and we discover the team that beat DEN, SEA, and SFO, we will absolutely be one and done. I hope we find our missing Colts team.

  4. You're right.  I'm sure you're getting tired of complaining about our team, it has to be tiring for you.

The Bengals are pretty close to Indy.  They'd welcome you as a fan.

Just trying to put a positive spin on things, but thanks for your concern.

  5. The first half of the season we earned those wins and looked like one of the best teams in the NFL.  We have slowed down since then but we are picking up speed.  Our team is ridiculed so much, but you got to be glad that we're in the playoffs.  Anything can happen in the playoffs.

Love the enthusiasm, but I don't think today's performance was picking up speed. We allowed 35 points (discounting Triplette's gift) and did absolutely nothing on offense in the first half. Half of the offensive production in the second half came when we were 21 points down and the Bengals were in a prevent style defense.

Da'Rick and Brazill were positives, as was our special teams punt coverage a couple times, but otherwise, I don't see a speed increase at all.

  6. I really lost it on the first drive: 3rd and 3, and we throw the ball 20 yards deep. (after a time out for gads sake!!)

Really, really lost it on the second drive: 3 and 9ish and we throw a screen for a gain of two. Not just any screen, but the same one that we tried a few plays earlier when DB fell.

This type of inane play calling has been going on all year. Pep needs to go.
