Manning deserves the blame for ending the game in OT; however, the game should have never reached that point. The defense was terrible, the coaching was bad, and TWO of those turnovers were not unless you don't believe in PI or the Brady Rule.

If we really want a new wide receiver I hear Hank Baskett needs a job...

Took a peak at the Skins forums and nobody seems to really know what the true story is yet.....
Right now they're probably all denying that anything even happened to RGIII...just a bad dream. However, once the results are released I'm sure they'll move to anger (and probably run Shanahan out of town). After he's gone they'll start praying to their respective deities and then they'll get depressed once they realize RGIII will never been the same. Finally, they'll accept their fate towards the back of the line in the NFC again.
Let's hope I'm wrong.

I must have missed the look he gave Pollard. Was it a dirty look?
Hard to imagine having Ed Reed and Bethea in the backfield. It is hard to imagine since both of them are free safeties.

Well there goes the game check!
I noticed Garcon was fighting with everyone. I kind of miss his toughness. He added a little edge to the team.

Looks like it was a race to post this and I lost.
I felt bad for him too. He's a young kid, plays great, but this system is going to ruin his career.
-
I hate to say it, but Washington is going to play him into the ground far too prematurely. I can't help, but feel bad for the kid. He shouldn't be in the game! He's been limping the entire time and now the inevitable injury.
I don't feel like his future is particularly bright right now.

I do feel like Wilson has unfairly been left out of the ROY discussion. He's been every been as good as the other two.

Hey don't forget Bob Sanders!
...
Sometimes.
I still wonder what the Colts would look like if Bob had managed to stay healthy. That's some nostalgia.
-
I actually don't know much about Bowe other than he's big. How are his hands?
-
I had high hopes for our tight ends. If they could be 3/4 as good as Gronk and Hernandez we'd be golden. So far Allen is living up to his end of the deal, but not so much for Fleener.

I thik with us most likely not resigning Collie, Avery finds himself back but not Stating but trying to make the final roster
Oh Collie. So much potential.

How old is Fitzgerald? Isn't he about as old as Wayne, or at least close to it?
Ftiz is only 29 I think.

Queue the Larry Fitzgerald love fest. I'd love to see it, but I doubt it happens. We've still got to get Luck protected, get a corner, and some d-line. I'm afraid a high priced WR would hamper our ability to get more important free agents.

make some more excuses. Luck has his advantages too. After all, he was the most prepared QB since Elway coming out of college. I actually thought this was the ROY debate for what it's worth.
Where exactly do you draw the line between explanations and excuses? None of those things sound like excuses to me.
An excuse would be, "Luck throws dangerous passes when he's getting tackled because he feels like he's forced because our o-line is somewhere between no good and worthless." While that last part might be true, it's still excuse b/c it's well known that you shouldn't force dangerous passes and it's Luck's fault when he decides to do it. However, what NewEra said are legitimate reasons.
It's the same reasons the Patriots slaughtered the Colts early in the last decade. The Patriots were better coached, had a better defense, and were a much more complete team. We had a flashy offense, a great QB, and Freeney/Mathis. That's it.

I want us to beat the Ravens, but if we lose I won't be nearly as disappointed with the loss as I have been in previous seasons. I was expecting something like six wins and didn't anticipate making it this far. Anything from this point on is just gravy as far as I'm concerned.
If we do beat the Ravens I really don't expect to beat Denver or NE. Even beating Houston a second time in a row is a tough sell.
-
There will always be talk of Luck & RG3 for the rest of their careers.
Hopefully, for their sakes, the Colts get an O-line and RGIII stops running around so much or their careers might not be as long as we all want.

It turns out there is a con to having one of the best QBs to ever play the game being followed by one of the most promising rookie QBs to ever play the game. We're still stuck with the never-ending "versus" debates!
-
Yep, I definitely agree there is a stronger case for Manning vs Brady for MVP than Peterson.
It'd give everyone a nice, warm feeling if a non-QB position won MVP, but there is a reason it rarely ever happens; there are no players in this league more valuable than Manning/Brady/Rogers/Brees. If the league was full of Ponders or Gabberts (or maybe even Smiths) then certainly we could come up with a case for AP or a defensive player, but just not now.
-
It should would be nice to have Reitz back.

What are you saying "WE" you aren't a "We" you are a Ravens fan. You sir are a "They". Unless Flacco has come down with Lyncanthropy he is not a monster anywhere. I don't see them running up and down the field except during warm ups. This isn't going to be a blow out either way.
+1 for using the word lycanthropy in a sentence.
I'm just glad we made it to the playoffs this year. I think we have a fair shot against the Ravens, but I'm not expecting much out of us if we have to visit Denver or Foxborough. It'll be fun though!

Ben Roethlisberger, Both QB's tend to hang onto the ball a little to long to wait for a play to develop, both are mobile, big and strong (Ben is only an inch taller and 7 pounds heavier)
For some reason he never struck me as being the same size as Ben. i knew he was big, but not that big.
I've always thought of him more as an Aaron Rodgers as well, though, I feel like he didn't run nearly as much towards the end of the season.

...have no more than one turnover.
-
Refs will make mistakes and dumb calls. No excuse, the better teams find ways to overcome "circumstances"
This is true, but how many refs make on the order of 6 or 7 really bad calls in a game? This game was rank with terrible calls.
Baltimore @ Denver Gametime.

To be honest, I don't like the rule either, but a rule is a rule and that should have been ruled the Tuck Rule.
