It's reported that Irsay wanted Pagano to stay. It has also been reported that Ballard has names that he wants.

    In due time. I hope

I think they were going to use this season as a reset and really see what they had with Pagano from the start. Now that it's all out in the open, there will most likely be a house cleaning at the end of the year, with a select few staying. We'll just have to see.

Judging from some of the early Ballard rumors if that means much of anything they say he's picked Brissetts mind about Mcdaniels.   And of course there's been the rumors about Toub.   Toub learned under Andy Reid.   Both systems are West Coast concepts mostly.   I don't know what the truth is, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's looking for something that relies more on high percentage throws,  playaction passing, and running the football.   Me I prefer Mike Shanahans system, but whatever it is I don't think it will be this Coryal we've been running for years.

    IE...the quarterback killer system.

  3. I was reading Stephen Holder's twitter and he's saying that Ballard was looking to 2018 from the moment he came on board. I'm thinking they knew this was going to be a down year. So honestly, it might be pointless to make the changes now unless Pagano completely loses the locker room(which looks like it could be happening). But I think it's pretty clear there will be a house cleaning at the end of the year, barring a few select coaches.

  4. you know part of me is thinking that this was part of the long term plan. Even Irsay was saying he'd take a bad season in order to be a title caliber team. Maybe they we're thinking it would be THIS bad but I'm thinking they were expecting it to be a down year in order to build for the future.

  5. I also think it's Brissett's inexperience too.....reading defenses, adjusting plays, decisiveness  etc....teams don't tee off on Luck like they did with Brissett last night. But yes the play calling didn't help. But honestly who knows what was called. Maybe they had a perfect play dialed up and Brissett just didn't execute. He held on to the ball a long time too.

hahaha Well then. I didn't see that interview but I did see his brief interview RIGHT after the game last night and he was in such a happy mood. He must have got pumped up in the shower.

well that could go a few different ways lol

Surprised to see Kamar Aiken involved in only 8% of offensive plays while Quan Bray was in 50% of the time!

Would have thought the big body type receiver would be more complementary to having TY out there 97% of the time.  I get the feeling they just don't like Aiken as much as they hoped.

Bray being out there so much just makes me miss Natson all the more.  I wonder if it was just those drops in pre season that means he isn't here as he looked so electric otherwise.

Aiken went out with a possible concussion in the first half.
