When a running back stiff arms Clowney, that's impressive

I will say this.....if the Colts want Nelson that badly and they're unable to trade back, they should still take him. A few draft spots isn't that big a deal...now if yo can trade back and still get him, even better.
-
watch him have the game winning strip sack of Roethlisberger in the title game.

We are still talking about arm length correct??!
I hope so, if not, then that would be a little overkill lol

this is so true...though I will say Quenton Nelson is the closest thing to a sure thing in this draft.
here's a little nugget on Nelson too.

Great post!
And a reminder to us all that no one, or almost no one, is a guaranteed lock to succeed.

Not to keep kicking a dead horse, but I was looking for this earlier today and couldn't find it. Just did, and want to post it so people can get a better understanding of why anyone thinks the Colts players might want to pay tribute to Chuck Pagano.
By the way, I'm firmly on the side of replacing Pagano after this season. If it were up to me (and it's clearly not, never has been), I would have moved on after 2015. Nothing Pagano has done since then has changed my mind; in fact, I'm more convinced after two disappointing seasons. But he clearly has the respect and admiration of his players, and I think it's because he's a genuinely good dude. Just not good enough as a head football coach.
Exactly......and this is why the players always play hard for him. That says a lot.......besides he's not a "horrible" coach per se, he's just not who the Colts need to get to that next level.

I think it's a safe bet Chuck will go all in to get him those 48 yards.
That and TY generally shreds the Texans.

Why am I not surprised.....refs call the holding/interference against Colts but not Bmore.

Sorry Adam

No. He’s no all pro. But he’s far from ‘suck’.
he's not "elite", but he's still very good.

Keep em coming

I will say the OP does bring up one valid point and I mentioned it in the game thread.
New England seems to always be the beneficiaries of these controversial calls. And they're always at critical moments of the game. I can't remember the last time that they've been the victim of them.
-
Seriously when was the last time the Patriots have been on the wrong side of one of these calls? They "always" seem to be the beneficiaries of these calls.

Love the Pats DB can basically hold his hand and still don’t get called.
In Pittsburgh no less....always seems in big games the refs swallow their whistles against NE.

What a catch by Bryant.

I know this is a different game but the Rams are absolutely destroying Seattle in Seattle....34-0 in the first half still.

somebody is leaking to the Boston media?
That's why I'm a little leery but then again...it's probably a horribly kept secret too lol.
-
Take it for what it's worth...it's from Ben Volin of the Boston Globe.....on my phone so I can't post link.
Also mentioned Ballard wanting Toub as head coach.....we ll see how that plays out.
-
Nelson and it's not even close for me. If you have the chance to take an elite prospect you take him. He's an elite prospect and don't look back.

We have to get some offensive linemen in here..
.No excuses.....89 sacks in 2 years...?
Who is the best offensive lineman in the nation. I want him
That would be Quenton Nelson

Well no pass rushers and playing pretty much your 4th 5th and 6th string corners isn't helping.

Can't deny the Colts don't play hard for Chuck....if only he was a better tactician.
