I don't known what the solution is, but I do know you can't pay Luck that kind if money.  You just can't.

Maybe trade him to someone like a Denver, or one of the two teams who just drafted 1-2 qbs in the draft as part of a package.  Hell I would take Connor Cook and a bunch of players and draft picks rather than pay Luck that much.  It's lunacy.

Replace Luck with Connor Cook ?  You are being sarcastic, correct ?  Come On Man !!! You need quality under center.

  2. All but a foregone conclusion that this is Pagano's last year in Indy.

Here are some HC Candidates I've put into tiers ranking from most-likely to least-likely. Bolded names make my wish-list.

    Most Likely Candidates:

    Pat Shurmur, OC, Philadelphia

    Pep Hamilton, OC, Indianapolis

    Adam Gase, OC, Chicago

    Greg Roman, OC, Buffalo

    Teryl Austin, DC, Detroit

    Moderate Chance:

    Mike Smith, FA

    Kyle Shanahan, OC, Atlanta

    Doug Marrone, OL, Jacksonville

    Hue Jackson, OC, Cincinnati

    Not Very Likely:

    David Shaw, HC, Stanford

    Josh McDaniels, OC, New England

    Bill Lazor, OC, Miami

    Jon Gruden, FA

    LOL No (aka no chance):

    Nick Saban, HC, Alabama

    Urban Meyer, HC, Ohio State

Please say Pep is a joke of a choice. The sooner the he heads back west the the better.

  3. That 3rd round pick was considered by many as a 1st round talent to a 3-4 defense.  because he was considered not as good for a 4-3 as well, dropped his worth in the draft.

And if these guys performed well enough to not only play as starters, but to do so well as to have the previous starters released,..that is saying something.

IMO, Colts DID do something..they got guys they WANTED, that would fit the scheme, rather than what everyone else thought they should do.

Parry is going to be a wall in the middle of the line. I just hope the LBs do their job and fill the holes and tackle the RBs that Parry lets them clearly see

  4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it quite scary to enter week 1 with 5 DL including 2 rookies and an unproven player with 1 year in the league? I know there (I guess I assume) there will be additions made asap on the DL, but this lineup sure doesn't put any fear in opposing offenses minds IMO.
