Defense is usually ahead of Offense at this point in offseason, especially when your star QB is out.

McCoy checks all the boxes for this team, Suh does not.
If/when McCoy gets released I'd be shocked if Ballard doesn't take a good long look at him.

Big lower body.....
He looks dominant and that's what you want to see from a player at that level of competition. His get off, quickness, and pocket pushing ability are evident. Also, his hand fighting is better than most at his level/age.
All this from a short highlight film. I'll have to try and find actual game film to better evaluate.
Good luck, big fella. Looking forward to camp.

I didnt pick a measurement. I just said hes small. Am I wrong
Again, you said he was small like Eric Foster, which pretty clearly implies lack of LBs.
Alas, it is hard just to admit "I was wrong." Let us move on.

Hes not even 6 foot. Most of our DTs are 6 5
Oh boy. Feels like you're changing your narrative now. The player you compared him to is 6'2 265, so clearly you were referencing weight. No one every complained about Foster's height; yet, basically, everyone complained about his weight.
More weight on a shorter frame means you have a thicker frame (in general). He is not a small guy.

Ok in terms of actual measurements, I was off, but compared to the rest of team, hes small
Err, no.
Grover Stewart 64 333
Margus Hunt 68 298
Sterlin Shipley 511 295
Johnny Robinson 6 292
Jihad Ward 65 290
Jordan Thompson 62 284
How is he small compared to the rest? Grover is an outlier and Hunt is 3 pounds heavier on an 9 inch taller frame; therefore, he's actually one of our biggest interior lineman. Sorry, Charlie.
Heck, I didn't even add Autry and Lewis who, in fact, compare much more favorably to Eric Foster (build wise).

Really small though. Hes 6 foot 295. That's like eric foster size
lol... let's look at the size of the DT on this team, shall we?

Margus Hunt 68 298
Sterlin Shipley 511 295
Johnny Robinson 6 292

Eric Foster 62 265

I don’t mean to be a killjoy....
But a reminder that these rookies are competing against mostly other rookie and street FAs who are trying to make the 90 man roster...
So their success in these settings is great... but don’t get too carried away... there are 31 other NFL rookie camps and some of those kids are doing well there too...
It’s a long, long spring and summer...
Just saying...

To be honest Campbell and Hines are kind of the same gadget players.
False.

It sounds more like a knock on Isabella than an endorsement for Hart.

They're gonna play him at linebacker.

Must be targeting a DT with one these picks, right?

Maybe the Colts are switching to 3-4...haha. Would probably be seamless now...especially with who they have added.

2 Hookers are always better than one.
That's a very dangerous mentality, my man.

With my limited knowledge on this guy, I don't expect him to beat a healthy Geathers out for a starting spot anytime soon; however, I do see him playing a big role in certain situations. If he's as good in coverage vs TEs as claimed, I can see Geathers moving to LB in more situations and bringing this guy into SS.
We already saw that a good bit with Farley and Geathers last year. I see all four of our Safeties seeing snaps. Plus, now we have a bit better depth, which with Hooker's and Geathers' injury histories depth is very much needed.
Then long-term, hopefully, this guy could be the answer.

The Colts are applying for the Ivy League of the NFL.

Yeah I was saying he was a 6th-7th round pick in my opinion watching Michigan State games. He could prove me wrong but I don't see it. Would definitely rather have Hooker or Deionte Thompson.
We already have our Hooker. How many do you need?
-
Seems like some are forgetting the man who put a hole in the wall at DT. Jihad Ward was playing very well before getting injured last year. DT is not as dire as some like to believe.

I hope Rock turns out better than our last small school (same mascot - Owl), tough, likes to hit, man corner, one year wonder: Djoun Smith.
I like Ben Banogu on paper but on my paper he is not playing LB. Great explosiveness, work ethic, and his build.
Parris Campbell. Yes, please.
Don't know much about Bobby Okereke but I love the wingspan and physical similarities to Leonard. Extremely smart human (not just player). However, this pick makes more sense to me if Banogu is an Edge.
P.S. Sorry to anyone who read this for making you recall Djoun Smith.

He’s direct completion for Walker...and much needed.
Either they are looking at moving Leonard to MIKE to captain the defense (makes plenty of sense because he never leaves the field) or they are looking to upgrade Walker...or at least give him legit competitor for snaps.
Leonard ain't moving anywhere. He's already the leader on D, regardless.
