Nope. False alarm. It was a trash twitter thread.
-
Saw on Twitter he may have re-tore the labrum in his throwing shoulder.

If we fall down to around 20 and there aren't any premium pass rushers left, I'd be fine with grabbing N'Keal Harry or Kelvin Harmon. Even D.K. Metcalf if he checks out medically.
-
I'd love to see N'Keal Harry in a Colts uniform if we trade down. Big receiver who can win jump balls, make moves after the catch and is a very smooth athlete.

Jackson would have been a steal at 37. He is perfect for our new system. O well. #TrustTheProcess

Would have preferred St. Brown, Cobbs or even Cain.

Oliver is about 20 pounds less than Wilson.

We could get a good deal on him. 3/4 years and he’s only 26. He’d compliment Hooker well as our SS.

Hurst does not have a heart issue that he "apparently" got over. At the combine they hooked him up to a machine that gave them a reading that basically told the doctor that further evaluation is necessary. They further evaluated it and found there was no issue.
It has happened to me a few times.
Additionally, he probably won't drop that far. one, there are a lot of teams that run a 4-3, so if you think he only fits a 4-3 that does not mean he is not wanted or needed. 2nd, he is the best 4-3 DT in the draft, 3rd he would also fit a lot of teams that run a 3-4 like the Colts have for the past few years. He would play the same position that Anderson played. There are a lot of teams that would be able to take advantage of incredible burst off the snap.
If you think Josh Jackson is worth #12, I'm guessing you are an Iowa fan? Jackson had an incredible season and the couple/three games I watched he is fearless at the CB spot which is a huge plus to me. But I personally don't think any one year college starter is worth a first round pick. If it took them 3 or 4 years to crack the starting line up in college, they will not pick up the pro game quickly.
So you think Hooker was a bad choice? Lattimore for the Saints last year? Ward as a top 10 pick as well? They were also only one year starters.

Please no 5’10” corners. Is a great athlete that doesn’t play up to his ability. I partially agree. If we can’t get Nelson or Chubb, I’d be fine with Minkah or trying to fleece the Bills out of both their first rounders and second rounders.

I’d take this off-season in a heart beat. But throw in a WR. We need more weapons regardless of who the QB is and even if Moncrief can get in track.
-
I'd do it in a heartbeat. We could most likely get 3-5 starters with those first 5 picks plus our other picks.
-
Sign him now. He's 29 and still had plenty in the tank. He's still a top 5 ILB and can be a steady veteran presence going forward.

Usually during the NFL Draft weekend there is a party weekend at a small private college in Eastern Iowa. St. Ambrose in Davenport. Well I got drunk during the draft and threw up in someones townhouse there all over their bathroom and blamed it on my buddy.
-
Replace Tim Williams with another pass rusher and I'd be elated. I'm a huge fan of going after Hill, Beckwith and Walker with our 4/5 round picks if they are there.
-
Switch out Lawson for Tak or Quincy Wilson and I'd be happy.
-
Um no. If we have to go offense in the 1st, then Lamp. But if the price were right from a team trying to trade up, I'd trade for an additional pick. Maybe a team with a pick later than us would throw in their 2nd or 3rd and 4th.
-
If we pass on Lattimore for McCaffery I would cry.
-
4 years 24 million or 5 years and 30 million sounds good.
-
Brian Hill and Kendall Beckwidth in the 4th.
-
Brian Hill RB Wyoming
Kendall Beckwith LB LSU
Just a couple off of the top of my head that might be available.
-
If we do draft Cook, I hope we sign Zeitler, Leary or Whitworth. I would love Zeitler at a 5-6 year deal at 8/9 million a year if we could. Castonzo, Mewhort, Kelly, Zeitler, Haeg looks good.

An improved O Line so he doesn't have to stay in and block and his receiving skills would be utilized is a start. Not to mention PFF had him graded out as a top 5 TE his rookie season

Sorry. Sitting on the toilet and my diarrheal self didn't see it was a parody account.
