Don't judge this kid by his workout numbers. He may seem small at 225 lbs and slow at 4.7 but he is a damn good football player. He is football fast. He is only the 4th player ever in the SEC to lead his team in tackles all 4 years he played. He is smart and instinctive. I will be shocked if he doesn't make the team. And yeah his name is pronounced Sky as in that is his limit.
Edit - Oops. I should have read the board closer. I see there is already a thread down below about Skai. And reading that thread reminded me about the 14 ints which ties a school record. He had #15 against Michigan in our last bowl game but we were offside on the play.

I've seen him play several times. Clemson is our (SC) arch rival. I would say the only negative on him is consistency. He will make a great play and on the next drop a perfectly thrown ball. He has all the physical tools you want, big and fast, in a wr. I don't know why he dropped this far. I'm glad we were able to get him because he definitely has a lot of potential.

i never worry about winning too many games unless it causes us to miss out on a franchise QB
it was my favorite game of the year too, how about mack with that stiff arm?
And it was on my homeboy Clowney from SC. It was awesome

We all know if we didn't beat Houston last year we would have had the second pick and could have had Barkley. Well it hit me last night that the Jets wouldn't have traded us at 2 and given us 3 second round picks. So in my opinion I'm glad it worked out the way it did.

We would move to 12 and get their #22 and #65 (1st pick in 3rd round) which would give us a + 545 points according to the draft calculator. I'd take it.
Edit. This trade is better than I thought. It's + 645 for us instead of 545

He coached for my Gamecocks from "99 to '03. He did very well for them. The only knock on him is that he wasn't a very good recruiter which means nothing as an NFL. coach. I for one am very glad to have him

The players Grigson brought in while Manuskey was here was a joke.
Plus the Redskins landed Zach Brown in free agency. He was the one guy I thought could really improve our defense. He's an upgrade over what we have now, but I can't remember the last time the Colts had a top 5 MLB on their roster.
Yeah you're right. Brown played a great game. He is definitely a difference maker.

The Redskins defense last night was amazing. I had no idea Manusky was their DC. We never came close to playing at that level the 4 years he was here.

I am coming up from SC for the Pitt game and reserved a Villa on 215 North Summit Street. My buddy just sent me a text saying he thought this wasn't the best part of town. Should I keep it or look elsewhere? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all of the great info everyone. I really appreciate it

What's your "good" price range? I'm always willing to pay a little extra just for the convenience of parking being included and being within walking distance to the stadium, restaurants, and tailgating.
I realize the convenience of being downtown is going to cost more. I just have to decide if it's worth the extra $100 a night because I would think I could get a room for around $100 or less around the.airport

Air B n B my man. I've always been able to save a lot. And you can choose your location. If you know someone that has an account they can refer you, and you'll get 40 dollars off first booking.

This is really cool. I've never heard of it before. I just downloaded their app. Thanks

Yeah I have already done a search but I value word of mouth from locals more than a search site.

I am coming up Nov 12th for the Pitifulburgh game and would like some hotel recommendations. Thanks in advance for your help.

And Luck didn't run any time off with 46 seconds left. Why not let the play clock run. 2 really stupid plays.

I know that is offensive to some but I hope you understand that it is not intended as you perceive it.
Yeah I understand how he was using it and that's why I said I don't think it's necessary to use it to try to be funny. I just think he is a really funny guy and doesn't need to use that as part of his repetoure. McAfee is the man no doubt and I don't think any less of him.

I'm not going to say I am a holy roller and don't drop an occasional F bomb, but I don't use the Lord's name in vain and certainly don't think it's necessary to use it in an attempt to add humor to what your are saying. I know some comedians do it. I just don't like it or agree with it.
Ok I am done with my sermon. Carry on.

There are several references in this thread about how bad our defense has been in the playoffs. And I agree it has been bad however our defense was more responsible for beating Chicago than Peyton. Granted they were playing an offense led by Rex Grossman I still think they played better than the offense that day. If I recall they had 5 TOs that game and if you take away the opening kickoff only gave up 10 points. Manning had a decent day but the running game was what I remember being the key to the offense. And Adam Vinatieri, minus the first extra point.

No, no, that's REALLY what the moon looks like from my house. Just very odd that my Steelers neighbor never sees it that way. Guess he needs new glasses.
Not so fast my friend. You are not alone because it is a common misconception that the crescent is a moon. Actually it was part of the confederate uniform from the civil war called a gorget. Paragraph 4 of my link explains it. And I have several Pitifulburgh Queerler fans that are friends so I feel your pain having to deal with your neighbor

Btw, I'm going try and get a Colts message board get together for those attending the Falcons game. I know it's down the road, but just a heads up to keep an eye out a week or 2 before the game. I'll sniff out anyone interested.
Sounds good. I'll be on the lookout

I'm living in Myrtle Beach now, but we have family in Charlotte. My wife and I are leaning towards doing a visit and attending the game. I've never done a MNF game before, should be an awesome game, too.
Atlanta would be a bit far, may as well visit friends in Indy. Hmm...
That is a cool signature you have. The horseshoe instead of the crecent is very clever

I live in Greer SC which is a little over 2 hours from Atlanta and 1 1/2 hours from Charlotte so this year is a really good year for me schedule wise because I'll get to see them on Nov 2nd in Charlotte and the 22nd in Atlanta. I can't believe it's already been 8 years since Ive seen them in both places. The reason I know it's been 8 years is because I heard on the NFL network that the NFL schedule will repeat itself every 8 years. We will actually play the NFC south and AFC east again in 4 years but the home and away schedule will be different. The only thing that changes year to year is who are the other 2 teams we play. For example since we won our division we play the division winners from the AFC north and AFC west this year. I imagine we will play those 2 conferences in 8 years but who knows which team it will be because it is determined on where you finish the previous year.
How did I become a Colts fan from SC you ask? Ok I'll tell you.I have been a Colts fan since 1970. I have always lived in SC but the reason I became a Colts fan is when you are a kid you naturally pull for who is good. Dallas and the Colts were both good yet 2 of my buddies already chose Dallas so I took the Colts. I really don't remember much, other than rubbing it in to those 2 after the 71 Super Bowl. The mid 70's and beyond is what I remeber. Some of my favorite players back then were Bert aka "Hurt" Jones, Roger Carr and Lydell Mitchell
Since I followed them as the Baltimore Colts I'm curious how many on here did the same
-
Of course we all wished Baltimore would have won but that doesn't mean we would have beaten them. I'm sure the majority of Patriot fans were pulling for us to beat Denver. The Patriot team would never admit it but I bet they were pulling for us also. Well they got us so let's just see what happens. I'm sure our team will use it as motivation.

There are plenty of options, but if you're wanting reasonable rates then Holiday Inn or the Comfort Inn is where it's at. Most hotels are within 3-6 blocks of the Stadium.
Just what I was looking for. Thanks
