  1. Mack is gonna have a big day cause the Chargers can’t stop RBs to save their lives.

That being said, the Chargers are gonna put out of the same defense against Brissett that they did against Lamar Jackson in the playoffs last season. And I don’t think Brissett is gonna be able to solve that defense even without Derwin James in the lineup for the Chargers.

    20-13 Chargers imo.

  2. This is now being universally seen as worse than Raptors fans booing Kevin Durant in the Finals when he got injured.

There's going to have to be a ton of damage control done in the next few days to fix this.

Agreed.  He's too good to go out like this.  I really feel like no matter what happens this season he will retire at the end of it.  He could go somewhere else, but you're banking on them being good.  Who knows in this crazy league?  The team that lost the Superbowl last season is currently 1-5.  Where would he go that would want him and has a legit shot?  I can't think of anybody.  Too bad he wasn't available back in 2012.

NE is probably his best shot and they actually have a rich history of using old RBs pretty well.

How many guys can argue are better than AL?  I can only name 7 guys that you could argue.

    Rodgers

    Brady

    Brees

    Roethlisberger

    Newton

    Wilson

    Palmer

I personally like him better than Brees,Wilson, Palmer, and Newton, but I can see how someone could argue the other way.  So if we look at worse, the guy is the 8th best QB in the league. He is still young, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Palmer hadn't peaked at this point in their career, and his physical tools are better than the lot of them sans Cam Newton.

Look at the roster, and although most here rate the WR corps very high, I think they are above average but not spectacular.  Ty Hilton is very good,  the outside guys are good but they are low end WR1-midWR2 guys.  They RB situation is mediocre, the TE situation the same. O-line I think has been solid this year, but during his career they were pretty sub par.  You think if these guys were on a team with an average QB, you would even know their names? (other than TY)  seriously,  Luck makes these guys look better.  Imagine if the colts had a real High end WR1 (Bryant, Thomas, Marshall, Brown, Green, Jones, Hopkins, ODB, Jeffrey, Nelson, Watkins, Evans) and TY and a solid run game or if they had an O-line comparable to the cowboys.  They would have the best O in the league.

This is madness, the best thing about the team is AL, yet pointing at him and saying well he should be damn near perfect, if he was we would be winning is crazy.  Its like in the NBA when a team loses and people blame it on the star player even when he plays well, yeah if he was michael jordan they would have won, but if those other guys were just slightly better than adequate they would have won as well.  I know AL is the focal point of the team, but blaming him for its state is crazy when so many other aspects of this team leave much to be desired.

I'm definitey biased but I think Rivers is definitely above Palmer & Wilson. I'd take Luck over Palmer.

The problem with Sproles and Dullah is that they cannot block.

On what planet can Sproles not block?

Ask Rivers, Brees, Foles, Bradford & Wentz and they'll all tell you that he indeed can.

He's literally the best blocking RB in the NFL. That's his speciality, 3rd down RB who can pick up the blitz and also a good reciever out of the backfield.

  6.

Julian Edelman: "You're not surprised by anything (with) how they play. They tried the onside kick and (fake punt). You know, Colts." haha

Funny he mentions the onside kick that they wrongfully got rewarded. Some Colts player when asked about the onside kick should say "We weren't surprised by the refs screwing us and giving them the ball because its the Patriots."

  7. Werner sucks. I usually don't say that about many players and give players the benefit of the doubt, but the guy has done NOTHING since he's been here. He sucks. And he needs to go.

Remember when people thought Jerry Hughes sucks?
