    Really sad about what happened to him. As he has had some personal problems in the past. Thoughts and prayers are with his three children and family. As they are grieving in private. Grew up with him from the Chargers. Really a great player and seemed to be a good man. Despite all that he has been through.

    Game against the Chiefs really was great. But really the real test begins with the Patriots. As the Colts need to get over that hump. As hopefully that they will! Colts just need to take one step at a time. And not rush it. As they hopefully will come away with a win against the Patriots! Taking one huge step on their way to NY and SB 48!

    'Any plans for Valentine's Day for you all? As not much for me. As a single person. As I love being single. But that's another story. But hope you all have a great and a safe Valentine's if you do anything with your spouse or significant other.

    In light and wake of the CO tragedy in Auora, we need to realize. That it is not guns but the people that DO THE SHOOTING that are at fault. As it is how you use a gun. Whether good or bad! As I can't stand being around guns and that even toy guns make me skirmish. Ask AZ in 2011, VT in 2007, or Columbine in 1999. Thoughts and prayers are with those that lost loved ones on Thursday night.
    Twelve dead and fifty-nine wounded. Let's remember them and not the person that did it.

    At least that the Oscars got it right with the awards. As really thought that Quentin Tarantino and Ben Affleck would had gotten nods for Best Director. As the Oscars really screw that one up! As at least Ben got Best Pic for Argo and Tarantino got one for his screenplay. Sometimes the show could go overboard at nearly 1am where people in the East Standard Time Zone go to bed! But Seth McFarlane getting mixed reviews by his hosting performance. I mean, you have to bring your beyond A game to host the biggest awards show of all time!

    Colts are in a must win for the team. As it will help them not just win the AFC South. But also help them in #2 or #3 place. In the playoffs. As Denver will get #1. While Patriots might get #2. Depending on their next few games. As it is must win baby for December!

    Sure no football! But can't wait for the spring to get here. As really winter has been beyond our expectations. Hope that it will be one warm spring. As really can't wait for not too hot nor cold weather to come! But spring on the bad side of me, is that my sinuses really get to me!

    In case you are thinking where is JPPT1974?! As that is where I will be. As I will be at the beach with my family. Really love the beach. Though I don't like camping as I find it boring. But camping at the beach with family is fun. Got a new camper!

    You see, the season may be over. But for JPPT1974's blogs, there is NO I mean, NO SUCH THING as an off-season. Sure I will blog on other things besides football. Because there is more to life than that. As blos never have nor never ever, will have off-seasons. As the blogs are usually 24/7. Thought I might give you all the heads up! No off-season for the blogs! Hope it will tie you all down before the camps kick off in the late summer!

    I didn't as they are so overrated. And long despite this year's show being shorter than ever. It usually lasts about until 1am it seems. But who would ever want to sit through a silent movie these days. Has to have the stomach to do that. Just want you all's take if you did or didn't watch it!

    Chad OchoCinco should learn to be a "team player," not a "me" player as one thing is important. It is important to be a team player and a follower. Rather than somone who puts himself first. Above the interests and sadly, to the chargin of others. You win as a team, you lose a team. The way I look at things. Guy just needs to grow up. He ain't the first nor will he be the last unfortunately there are way too much of him.

    Congrats to Peyton Manning as the SI Man of the Year for 2013! Nobody deserves it better than he does. After all he had been through in 2011. As he has really done well and thrived.Even though we are very, very glad that we have Andrew Luck. Still the name Manning will, never, ever be forgotten. Both on and off the field. As nobody deserves this honor more than #18! Way to go Peyton!

    Congrats to the Ravens for winning SB 47 as well as congrats to the 49ers. For such a great year. As the Harbaugh brothers bowl gave us drama and really a heart beating Super Bowl. Despite thirty minutes of blackouts in Louisana! Calling it the Super Bowl Blackout! But still, such a great Super Bowl! Hopefully Colts will get it next year!

    A Royal Baby Boy is born in Buckingham Palace. As the un named boy so far. Weighed in at eight pounds and that he is the third in line for the palace of king. Kate and William are doing just fine. Tired but excited indeed!

    Wierd Kind Of Weather!

    Don't know about you all and your neck of the woods. But here in the Southeast, we are having one day rain, and cold. The next, warm and sunny. Really a lot of people could say it could go on global warming. But who knows why of the wierd weather we are having these days. What is your weather like in your neck of the woods?!

    I did not as I want to avoid the rush and the crowds. Those that went, I commend you over it. But that is not my cup of tea. Sorry! But sure that Small Town Business Saturday and Cyber Monday will be up and fast. Just really don't want to get in the hustle and bustle of it all!

    We are going to have it on Christmas Eve. As my brother and brother in law, are both firemen and have to work on Christmas. And have to also in 2013, work on Christmas and Thanksgiving both! That is the lives of a public servant you see! If you work in public service as a fireman, law enforcement, or EMT.
    But seriously, what do you all plan on Christmas. We are going to celebrate it at our parents house and have all fourteen of us to just be together. As we all do so. Each and every year. Like I sad on Christmas Eve. Would love to hear of your plans! Thanks!
