Fleener might very well be the most improved player from the 2012 draft.. we need to lock this kid up long term ASAP.
-
I'm not really sold on Thornton. I was praying the Colts would go after a guard during free agency.
-
Luck my Fleener.
THIS IS GENIUS.
-
Fleener top 5-10 IMO.
That's pushing it.
-
They haven't signed yet. I'm sure both signings will come soon though.
-
.... what did you fix?
He said ligament chance, not legit.
-
Josh Robinson is a guy I'm anxious to see out there..
-
Fixed it for you ;)

If Geathers starts, great! Hopefully, it's because he's a stud. In any case, I think Lowery's going to be a respectable upgrade over Landry and Brown.
One could only hope.
-
Bethea was a 6th round pick (not that it should really matter where your drafted)... But I have high hopes for Geathers, esp watching his tapes; he's by far the best safety of his class
Far too early to label him as the "best" safety drafted in the 2015 draft. And when referring to Bethea, he played lights out in the pre-season that year as a rookie and earned his spot on the roster as a starter opposite of Bob Sanders. For Geathers to out play and shine Lowery, he's going to have to look unstoppable in preseason.
-
People who sit there and complain about AJ "losing a step" are going to be eating a big fat juicy crow this season.
Wait until you can see what he can still do with a quarterback like Luck and other respectable weapon around him
-
Geathers will need a pre-season like Bethea had in 06'
-
The Titans will win six games if they're lucky.
-
That and the fact that Pagano was Secondary coach for the Ravens in 2009 when Landry had his best year in terms of making plays on the ball.......Not that that would mean much because to be honest it could have been just coincidental but he is here now and going to be starting so Im hoping he has a big year
umm.. are you sick? lol
-
Barring an injury to either Lowery or Adams I don't see Geathers as a full time starter until next season. I think he can come in and play some nickel for us and contribute on special teams, but as a starter I think the Colts will bring him along slowly.
-
If the NFL were like college where players had a free range from picking numbers.. I wouldn't mind the retired numbers. But since players are limited, I don't see why two guys can't be retired under the same number.
-
I just hope INDY's offensive line steps up this year because it has to if the Colts wanna take it to the next notch on the playoffs level. I'm tired of losing in the trenches BOTT. Sigh...
Like Pagano said, if I don't get it fixed somebody else will be & Irsay better not sign Chuck to a longterm contract extension until we see an ability to run the ball effectively in December too.
It's been four years since we brought Grigson and Pagano here. If we can't show any sign of improvement in our lines ability to be able to run the ball and somewhat protect Luck, well our SB chances will run dry once again and I really do think we will at least have a new HC in Indianapolis in 2016.

The Titans have some nice pieces, but they aren't even close to the Colts in terms of talent. (Quarterback is a huge reason we're a far off better team than they are right now.)
-
I think the health of Cherilus is going to weigh heavily on our decision to pursue Mathis. If Mewhort has to play RT. I would feel A LOT better knowing that Mathis and Herremans (or maybe even Donald Thomas) is our starting guards. I'm not a fan of Reitz, Thornton or Louis as starters.
-
Just the story that ESPN ran with who they think Mathis would be interested in. If it happens it will be a done deal without much said before it is done.
Mainly the Colts are just stubborn and refuse to fix the offensive line when it has been one of the worst position groups on the team for mutiple years! I don't really understand it! The Cowboys showed what a good o line can do for an offense.
Does the FO just love to prove people wrong? It's not working. All season it was dreadful! The playoffs get stepped up but it was still far from great. I don't get it. It's the most important position on the offense besides QB and the QB needs to be protected and helped out.
I'm sure there are other reasons why they don't want him but if the offensive line fails to play well once again people are not gonna be happy and everyone might as well throw the Super Bowl hopes out the window.

June 16, 2015I wouldn't mind the signing for a year or two, but I think in the end we might just be better off walking away.. But his connection with Grigson is something that always gives me that small bit of hope that we could make a run for him.

If Andrew Luck is the Lebron James of the NFL.
I guess that makes Tom Brady the Michael Jordan of the NFL.
Since all he does is win championships.
-
All I know that is on paper our pass rush looks extremely better than it did after the Mathis injury last season.
Cole and Mathis, as well as Newsome coming into his second year. I like it. I'm just hoping Werner can finally step up.
-
Health aside, Allen is the superior player. Light years ahead of Fleener as a blocker and is a pretty damn good receiver himself. No he won't give a ton of big plays down the field but he is still a significantly greater impact player.
Allen is a better blocker.. but the guy needs to be on the field to help us.
Fleener is taller, faster and has some pretty decent receiving skills as well.. BUT MOST Importantly. He stays healthy.
-
Luck will also be getting his contract extension next offseason, I think
I believe so too. His contract is going to determine the rest of the 2012 draft class. I'm praying that his contact is cap friendly. I'm hoping he can work something out where we can stay competitive for many more years, but he can still make the money that he deserves. Here's to wishful thinking though.

I like this kid, showed some potential when healthy, BUT is a long stretch to make the final day roster.
