  1. I don't think he is "terrible"... but he lacks that playmaker "gene?" maybe instinct is a better word. it seems he is always a step or two behind. and it just really sticks out when on the other side you have #41. or Lefeged making plays whenever he is on the field.

  2. I think we made the adjustment of trying to get pressure on the edges.. to just trying to get pressure up the middle. i think that GB was thinking we would simply send Mathis/Freeney in from the edges. once we started sending people up the middle we were able to get pressure. add in some stunts with Nevis/Redding and it changed the outcome obviously.

  3. I agree that man is good....did anyone see the push the oline was getting? Tbh if they keep getting better I don't mind if Samson or Joe don't come back.

I did see on that play before Luck hit Reggie on the TD and he scrambled for the 1st. A.Q got off the line well and sealed the opening for Luck to get that 1st down.

  4. I usually watch the line play on both sides of the ball my second viewing. but some people on here i can tell have a good sense in judging how players contribute, have praised his game today. i will see for myself. but i did notice alot of the pressure was coming from other places than up the middle which is a great indicator of good blocking.

  5. lt is our weak spot on the line, we need a great one to protect luck, we have to face reality

This is a joke. do you watch the line play? or you just see Luck leaving the pocket so its all coming from the LT. might want to re-watch all the games again

  6. I for some reason think we had a curse put on us back in 2009 where we can't ever field a healthy team... i would like to see us have all our starters play to see how we play. i never look ahead but i think this game vs NYJ is winnable we can improve on our running game next week as well.

  7. You need to have more faith in your team. Before this game it was hard to read all the "Oh we're going to get crush ugh, they're going to really beat us down". I told you all that Reggie Wayne would have a big game and the Packers defense has been playing like garbage. Brees totally exposed them a week ago when he was throwing all over them and Joe Morgan (who the heck is Joe Morgan?) looked like a starter, and on top of that; Saints WR's are B and C, they aren't "elite" level outside of Colston.

I agree! i stayed off of the forum for the simple fact i did not want to deal with all the pessimists. i mean why even play the game according to some people.

  8. The line blocked fine today 46 pass attempts no sacks and some decent runs. i want some of the posters wanting people cut to take the players place and see them do it better. We don't have the best line in the Nfl... and crazier we don't have the worst. everyone on this board should know we are to trapped to just go out and buy a line we have to make due with what we have and they have improved each week.

  9. I think the proper calls would of mad a BIG difference in todays games. the non calls on luck getting hit after sliding would of moved the ball. the missed PI calls killed drives. Who knows those drives could of resulted in 3s on the board but who knows... when it came down to making a stop we couldn't. but those missed calls would of changed something if called properly.

Other games like the Raiders/Steelers... Mundy caused two concussions today! launching himself leading with his helmet both were not flagged.

  10. The Refs are ridiculous... OBVIOUS CALLS. i have never been one to blame a win or loss on the Refs... but there is a first time for everything. My mom sat down and watched some of the came with me. did not even know which team is which happen to be when Luck slid after running and he got hit by a guy and she was like you shouldn't be able to do that i was like YOUR NOT!

  11. An MRI of Colts C Samson Satele's left knee revealed only "soreness and stiffness."

It's excellent news for the Colts' banged-up line, though not a guarantee Satele will be ready for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. If he's not, RG Mike McGlynn will likely slide back over to center, leaving Trai Essex at right guard.

Hopefully it is just soreness and he is back for Sunday

  12. I by no means think the Op was saying we are SB bound but how nice would it be to head into our BYE week being 2-1 in a tie with the team some "experts" pick to be the best team in the AFC. and we being the "worst" team in the NFL. I tend to look at our record quarterly like Polian did. and i would be happy with 2-1 after 4 weeks. does that mean playoffs? not by any means but at least we can say we matched our win total from last year pretty early this year

  13. Not too suprised by Avery. His health is what has been the issue. but his ability to make plays and get open is not surprising at all. As for Collie i think we keep doing what we are doing moving Reggie and go from there.

  14. D played good. did not hear too much about missed tackles this game. couple of bad 3rd downs. but as we get more comfy in the system things can only get better. Redding played extremely well just glad to see him not get hurt.

  15. Congrats to the team, congrats to us the fans. a much needed win. i really wish we kept the pedal to the metal. nice drive by Luck in the final 30+ seconds to get us in position. Avery as i have said if he stays healthy... will be a big player for us this year. Gonna be a good week! congrats to everyone.
