  1. I agree he had terrible protection...but all 3 of his picks he actually had good protection. It was poor mechanics on 2 and just a great play on the 3rd. Come on...you can't just give credit and cherry pick what you like and never hold the kid responsible. Good and bad it was on him. I will say I saw plenty of good to know he has that special something...and also plenty of poor protection that means if he gets more help he will have even better games...but those mechanics have to get improved on....and they will. This isn't he didn't read defenses or made poor decisions like Vick, Tannenhill, and Weeden....or got tricked into bad throws like Stafford or made lazy choices like Cutlers pick...this was just an executional thing....one he can address.

Not gonna Argue that he didn't make poor choices on those thrown picks you are most certainly right he did make poor choices, but take into consideration the fact that him being under pressure so much that it altered his decision making. That type of stuff throws off a QB's count they are so focused on avoiding getting hit that they make poor choices and try to force the ball, even if they have some what decent protection (even though i personally thought the bears pushed the pocket more often than not).

  2. Hilton I think will be the main guy once healthy. Brazil had one bad mistake that turned into a huge mistake. He shouldn't have brought out the kickoff he fumbled to start with.

I completely agree, while i was watching the game i was think to myself why didn't he just down it. SMH rookie mistake.

  3. I Personally Think Davis played well, you have to remember that he is two weeks in to this Defense, it takes time for the Defense too create chemistry. I was extremely happy with Powers performance yesterday, IMO he played better than Davis did. The one player i am worried about is King, besides the one play he made in the deep thirds on Marshall his performance was terrible to say the least.

  4. Reitz for Olsen

    Linkenbach for Justice(Injury)

    Ballard/Moore for Brown

    Collie for Avery

    Hughes for Freeney(Injury?)

Brown doesn't get the bump for Ballard or Moore, he played well for the carries he received yesterday when the line actually got a push he capitalized on it. I don't see why people dislike him so much lol, He's an Decent back when he has a line opening up holes and blocking. There aren't many backs in the league who can create positive yardage when there getting attacked in the backfield by the opposition.

But i do think Hughes will get the start next week, i don't think Freeny will be a go, i have a feeling his ailment will sideline him for a few weeks.

  5. I thought he played well....he had Jennings beat on both those throws...but Luck made bad throws but he definately got behind the defense. I was impressed because I haven't been a big fan of his.

Cant blame Luck for the throws being bad he was under pressure most of the time, but i do have to agree he did play well,

  6. Both, IMO there were times during the game where i felt the line showed flashes of good performance. They need more time to gel and also need more talent i would say on the right side of the line. I thought that from the Center all the way to the LT the push was there Satele is a monster they opened up a few holes for D. Brown on Sunday. I wasn't too impressed with the Pass blocking i felt like Luck was under too much pressure would have liked to see D.Allen in there more often to provide more help on the line (BTW anyone else noticed he wasn't on the field as much or was it just me?

  7. Good Read and Breakdown of game plans for each team. I personally think that if the Colts are able to contain and stop the run and force Cutler into Throwing more than he usually is accustomed to, Than this will be good for the Colts as i see a lot of pressure and blitz's coming from the Defensive side of the ball for the Colts and if memory serves me correct Cutler doesn't perform well under duress. Offensively i hhink that A. Luck needs to utilize brown out of the back field with some swing passes and such. Brown is an effective open field runner that is very capable of making people miss and taking the ball to the house. This will certainly open up more options offensively deeper down the field. Also obviously running to keep the bears true. Just some quick thoughts on what the Colts can do on both ends of the ball to improve their chance of winning. (BTW new to the forum i always read the posts throughout this forum daily decided to finally make an account and contribute my own thoughts been a Colts fan for almost 16 years now)
