  1. It's hard to say if Grigson made the right moves or not, there were alot of big names out there, where we had the money to get some of those guys. To be honest the majority of the guys we did get, I had never heard of them at all! So if most of these guys that we got do pan out then Grigson is a magician, but if most all of them don't turn out then unfortunately we will be calling Grigson, a name I can't say on here. I guess " only time will tell "

  2. I personally dont like what Grigson has done so far, with all the money we had to spend on high quality players, we end up with a bunch of scrubs that probably no other team in the league had any interest in. At best we got backup players, instead of getting some really good players especially when we had the money this year to get them. This opportunity that we had will most likely not happen again in the foreseeable future, and Grigson blew it! VERY DISAPOINTED!!!!

  3. Pat is hillarious, the guy is just just a natural in front of the camera, I predict that someday after his playing career is over he will have his own talk show on the tube! And btw will Grigson pls hurry up and sign him, whats he waiting for he's only a punter they don't make that much money, and this year I'm pretty sure we can afford whatever Pat is asking for!

  4. Names may not be in his dna, but in the upcoming free agency there will be some available names that can definitely upgrade our team. With the Colts being 45 million under the cap, Grigson has a perfect opportunity to get some high quality free agents names, and if he decides not to, I think it would be a big mistake! There are 2 players if they became free agents, would love to go to the Colts, that being Paul Kruger and Ed Reed, because of their close connection to Pagano! I feel both of them would make a major impact on the Colts defense, something we desperately need to address! Our Draft picks are thin, since we lost our second round pick in the Vontae Davis deal and were drafting alot lower this year, so I think getting some names in free agency is critical to our success in 2013!

  5. I still like Adam and Pat as our kickers, in the clutch you won't find a better kicker than Adam, I think he still has 2 or 3 good years left in that leg, and Pat is one of the best punters in the game and he's only 25, so if Grigson doesn't sign him long term I'm going to be totally ticked off! I think Mewelde Moore will be next to get the ax.

  6. I don't know how many of you all receive SI in the mail or on a device but according to their preview of next year but Don Banks is suggesting this:

"sign Ravens UFA Dannell Ellerbe to complement edge rushers Freeney and Mathis, add a Nickel CB to help Vontae and Butler, also signing Rashard Mendenhall to push Vic Ballard."

What do you guys think about Ellerbe?  I know a lot of people are high on Kruger.  Also I find it odd that we would pick up Mendenhall.

    What do you guys think?

Forget those guys, Freeney is as good as gone, we need to go after Kruger if he's available!

  7. We haven't had a great back since Edge, I'm not knocking Vick Ballard who I think has potential, but I don't really see him as a great running back atleast yet. Why can't we ever find a guy like Alfred Morris drafted in the 6th round or an Arian Foster who wasn't even drafted, if we had a guy like that it would take so much pressure off of Luck. Does anyone actually think that griffin would have had the year he had if it wasn't for Morris being in the same backfield with him, if they do they need to get a brainscan ASAP! If Grigson can substantially upgrade our O-line in the offseason, maybe Ballard will fill the bill afterall.

  8. Yeah if you have Adrian Peterson as your running back, sure you can go to more of a run first and then pass on third down if you have to, but Vick Ballard is no Adrian Peterson, and Christian Ponder is no Andrew Luck, so you need to go with what your strength is no matter who the OC is. Andrew needs to be throwing the ball 2/3 of the time, they don't have to be always long passes like B.A. liked, in fact I never liked Andrew throwing so many long passes and so few short passes, hopefully the new O.C. will go to the Colts Strengths not Stanfords because were not built to be like them. A nice mix of short and long passes by Luck sprinked in with runs will be just what the doctor ordered!

  9. I'd like to see Luck make it to Hawaii for that game but if he doesn't its no big deal. The way the Pro Bowl is now is a total joke, the players don't really care if they win or lose, and most NFL fans don't even watch the game. Personally I think they need to change the whole format of the game to give the players more incentive to try harder than they do now and to also make it more interesting for the fans. One way I think that could happen is to have the Superbowl winning team playing against all the NFL all stars a week after the Superbowl. On the all star team you'd have superior talent but they haven't played together, against a strong Superbowl winning team thats played together the whole year and is a very cohesive unit. You could offer alot more money to the winning squad than they do now to give the players more incentive, plus I feel the all star team would love to knock off the Superbowl champs, and the Superbowl champs would also feel pretty good about beating the best players in the game. And more importantly, I believe the fans all across the country would be very anious to see this game, rather than not watching it all the way its set up now.

  10. I know Ryan Grigson will get some new linemen in here because he's an old lineman himself and he knows how crucial it is...

I have no doubt that's what he'll do first......He'll be thinking about that tomorrow morning..

Amen to that! Andrew was constantly pressured and harassed the whole season and still managed to break the NFL rookie yardage mark by over 300 yards, can you imagine if he actually had time to throw the ball how awesome he would be!!!!!!!!! The O-line is horrible it needs to be adressed immediately by Grigson!

  11. Hello everyone, my name is Hawkeyes. I expect Luck to be PERFECT and will always make negative comments about him every chance I get until he shows he can be. Please reference any thread about Luck and there you will find me being negative.

Nobody's perfect, if your going to make negative comments about Luck all the time what kind of Colt fan are you? My God the kid is only a rookie, cut him slack! You must be a disciple of Skip Bayless! lol

  12. Colts win over Baltimore sends them to Denver unless Cincy tops Houston...

Indy-NE would be Sun. Jan. 13..Indy-Denver would be Jan. 12.

Its too soon for IOndy-Denver...dont want it

....also if Indy and Cincy win TWO playoff games....Cincy comes to Indianapolis for the AFC title game..

a Cincinnati victory is best for all concerned

I disagree it would be better to play denver first, If we play the patriots are season is OVER! We match up better with denver than n.e., if we play the patriots next we have no chance of getting to the AFC championship game, playing denver I think we atleast have a chance  to get there, and who knows the patriots might get knocked out before the AFC title game! So I'm rooting for Houston to beat cincy!

  13. I know this is totally off the subject but I found it interesting. On ESPN's sportnation voting on the Colts ravens game, 49,000 voters across the country pick the Colts to win by a 60 to 40% ratio, and 48 out of the 50 states are going with the Colts to beat the ravens!!!! GO COLTS
