  1. I can't defend Harnish, but I wish people would let go of the idea that we're going to burn a roster spot on a backup kicker for an entire season. If you really like McManus that much, hope he gets hurt and we IR him. That's the only way he stays on this roster past final cuts.

My point was he is a waste of a roster spot that we could use any other way. Not for necessarily  Mcmanus, we have a lot of candidates.   But I do like the kicker.

  2. Has looked like hot garbage.  He's a liability, not accurate, and Pam Oliver got a first hand taste of it.   He looked better last year which was barely average. No growth at all, he's regressed. We need that roster spot for for so many other positions of depth, like Caesar Rayford or keeping McManus under the wing of Vinatieri.

  3. IDK  What gets me is the guy at this point at gametime is playing bad, fumbling the ball and flat out missing assignments; but yet he's on the sideline yucking it up, joking around, having the time of his life,  Like really is he THAT comfortable with his play hurting his team that way?   You would think he'd be a little more concerned.  I think he's the type that plays well in practice but chokes when the "lights" are on. That would explain it everything   I hope he proves me wrong.  PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG COBY!!!!!   But I think im right.

  4. Gawd I love hearing them get sacks!! If the D-Line is getting sacks it means this unit must also be applying some serious pressure and scrimmage control, which opens up SO much in terms of plays the backers and secondary are able to make, It all starts up front...on BOTH sides. The million dollar question is it because the D front is that good, or is the O line not quite there yet? My guess is that right now at this stage its a little of both. But Im willing to put money down right now that J.Chap is the REAL DEAL!!   Drake Nevis has always been my under the radar players, But this man is a disruptor that can make plays ...People WILL know his name this season.

  5. Just watched report on ESPN that DHB appears to have sprained his knee today in practice. Not good, I wonder how serious it is? and how long he'll be down. Hopefully he starts the season would LOVE to see him 'light up' Oakland. Anyone with news keep us updated plz.

  6. STRONGER EVERYDAY!!  Im SOOO pumped we got the Bradshaw deal done! I'd hoped we were gonna get a feature back (Eddy Lacy/Laveon Bell) in the draft.  And was disappointed when we didnt. I NOW see why.  Grigson IS building the Monster, The team we're gonna put on the field this season is gonna be just plain Beast Mode!! I  believe we still are and will be largely underestimated by the media and the NFL in general..And I LOVE IT!  The moves Grigson have made, and the way he leaves no stone unturned when it comes to finding potential talented ball players. I love how he has assembled these group of players AND coaches that are, and will continue to mesh well and get better with every practice session..It has colts nation pumped and excited for another season,  which is why I can see ANOTHER GM OF THE YEAR AWARD!!!    JMHO.

  7. From what Ive been hearing, Greg Toler has been looking like a stud! I know its only OTA's,  But if he is doing what they say; That's he's a really fast and athletic ball hawk, defending and intercepting passes, and basically just making plays all over the field. That is excellent news. That is exactly the type of player the scouts and his player evaluations, said he was before his injury. That #2 corner position is so key, He sounds like a  perfect opposite side to Vontae and having Butler as the nickle is a secondary I think will complement our run stopping front seven,

Im also reading good things about what Dax Swanson is back there doing,  And that Sheldon Price impressed in the little bit of time he was here.  If true this would be REALLY good news! We're talking talented starters and depth!  I cant wait to see these guys in action,

  8. So is this true or is this guy tryna stir up trouble? Cause we really don't need NFL Network hearing about this and they blow it up to make it seem like our team is dysfunctional

    We REALLYYYYY don't need that

I go to blue stampede just like I come here to get as much info, news and the latest developments on the team I love the most...With that said,  This guy Brad Wells is an A$$ clown who basically write articles/blog post with the pure intention of getting a negative rise and response out of the true fans who can stomach thru them to get to the meat of the subject, which is exactly what I do. Here lately fans and readers who know better have been calling him out on his colts bashing and basic nonsense,  And because of it his spew has gotten even more stupid,  which in turns gives him page hits which is all he cares about anyway,  so here lately his articles have gotten even more negative and *ic.  I don't expect him to keep his job (if he gets paid for it) much longer at all. Bottom line the guy's a * sh!t stirrer to get page hits..But the page does have other writers that aren't as bad and most times have good and informative reads.

  9. This is why I don't get why all these wanna be know it alls like Brad Wells @ stampede and "expert" fans keep crying about not drafting said receiver just because he was sitting there, We already have elite talent and great depth at receiver position, Why waste a pick with other positions of need? Just stop whining and let these guys do there job. GM of the year.. so they just might be pretty good at it.

I only said and meant they made the Colts roster.

  11. Y'all are getting y'all hopes way too high on these UDFA, looking back at last year with the depleted roster we had at the time we brought in these 14 UDFA and NONE made the 53 man roster.

    Micah Pellerin CB, Hampton

    Jabin Sambrano, WR, Montana

Jason Foster, OG, Rhode Island (via his Twitter handle)

Steven Baker, OT, East Carolina (via his former coach's Twitter page)

Cameron Chism, CB, Maryland (via KFFL)

Chris Galippo, LB, USC (via his Twitter handle)

Hayworth Hick, OG, Iowa (via his Twitter handle)

Griff Whalen, WR, Stanford (via this lady and Stanford University)

Kevin Eagan, DE, Endicott (via former teammate Vinny Franco)

Buddy Jackson, DB, Pittsburgh (via Ignition APG Twitter handle)

Antonio Fenelus, CB, Wisconsin (via his former coach's Twitter page)

Matt Merlettim, RB, Ignatious (via Total Ignatious Move)

Brian Stahovich, P, San Diego State

James Aiono, DT-DE, Utah (via his agents)

    Chigbo Anunoby, NT, Morehouse College

Uhhh NOT TRUE...Jabin Sambrano AND Griff Whalen BOTH made the team and ARE currently on the roster. Also Jabin will be a str8 BEAST when he gets his chance to play, and Griff Whalen is Luck's Wes Welker when he's in the game!!  soooo that post may have made you feel good to write it.  But...It is just NOT accurate!!

  12. Does anyone know how many picks we have left for the 2014 draft?  I know We traded our 4th  pick for Montori Hughes, I cant remember if that's the only pick so far we've traded or do we owe anyone another conditional from a previous transaction?  While we're at it,  How many if any compensatory picks should we expect to get next year?   Thanks anyone.

  13. I got complete faith in Vontae against anybody's best receiver. Toler from what he's done when he's healthy is a highly skilled corner who could be decent against a most ones.. so comfortable he can/will neutralize most two's. My HOPE is either Dax Swanson and Sheldon Price can learn from and become "seasoned" enough by both proper coaching and by example/teaching from Davis and Toler to become top flight corners. Both have the talent, Price definitely has the size and tools and Swanson has the ball skills, If they can gain confidence, and get enough experience to adjust to the NFL game, we could be complete. We already have an excellent secondary, what we need now is depth.

  14. If he's so good, how come he lasted this long without getting picked up?

Yeah your point is so valid because if the guy goes undrafted it means they cant play worth a damn!! just like Arian Foster or Wes Welker or Jeff Saturday or James Harrison or Antonio Gates or John Randle...SMH I know its hard to believe but sometimes just sometimes teams miss out on great talent in the draft..I know impossible right?

  15. If this year's draft pans out well, Grigs can be all kinds of sexy in drafts for years to come.

Thats what most "fans" dont understand!!   Winning starts with the GUTS of the team!! the trenches & the front lines!! Once you get that right everything else is the easy part.  I keep hearing  about how this was an ugly,  unimpressive draft...I thought it was beautiful. Because I know what its really going to allow us to do.

  16. Unless the player we absolutly targeted had and unreal slide...Bjoern Werner was mocked going as high as the 5th pick not more than a couple of months ago. Werner himself said no one worked him out more than the Colts. Grigs knew the player(s) he would NOT take a drop back for..So with Werner sitting there at 24 we had to follow our board..Im good the players we got and how they will fit I think we got significanly better, filled needs that exposed us last year and confident that we can play with ANYONE.  Excited about the team we will put on the field this season.

  17. Sheldon Price CB out of UCLA, and immediately get him into the weight room.

Nice catch sir.  You called it b4 it happened. He's got the physical traits..   maybe with a little seasoning he can be something special.
