He's incredibly frustrating.
He gives us hope at taking it the distance and being a big play guy, but he's also very, very reckless....
-
Donald Thomas & Trent Richardson will be the last 2 significant cuts.
Walden won't (and shouldn't) be cut. Cherilus won't (and shouldn't) be cut either.
Walden was much better last year and Cherilus was VERY good for us prior to his injury.

He was amazing last season. IMO best CB last season and it's not even close.
People seem to forget this move by Grigs... for a 2nd rounder. Unfortunately, people only remember that other trade...

I would love to have Gore on a low level contract. . . but
I'm wondering how he knows the last part.
Thing is that SF can talk about Gore and talk about if they are going to re-sign him or not. So he might get word from either SF or Gore that he won't re-signed. Gore could also tell him that he wants to play in Indy.
But if Pagano or Chud or anyone with the Colts mentions the possibility of acquiring Gore prior to the start of free agency it's considered tampering.
So if asked about Gore the only thing they can say is "Frank Gore is currently on contract with another team and I can not comment on that." I suppose they could maybe give him a wink or a nudge. But they can't tell him that they like Gore until free agency starts.
Also any talks between Indy and Gore's agent are against the rules as well until like 3 days before Free Agency. So he could effectively gauge Gore's interest in playing for Indy, but there is no way that he could gauge Indy's interest in Gore if Indy is following the rules.
I could be wrong, but isn't it tampering only if the Colts contacted Gore?
I don't think if Pagano said right now 'I'd like to have Gore" it would be considered tampering unless we CONTACTED Gore.
I could be wrong though.

I don't think we'd be able to get away with 6 to 8 million.
Honestly if this guy pushes for too much we should consider letting TY walk or trading him as much as I hate saying that. Teams that spend huge amounts on WR's can find themselves in trouble.
I honestly think we should top out at 10 mil and let him walk if he wants more.
No. Honestly, I don't think we can afford to lose TY. At all.

Matt Miller at bleacher report said he sees "no way" in which Frank Gore returns to SF.
He then said Colts are a "shoo-in" to land Frank Gore.
Don't know how accurate it is, but he also said Pagano & Chudzinski want Gore.

Hope we re-sign Mike Adams another year and get a solid vet or draft another safety to go along with him.

I think RW is a great player.
He's just no where near the level as Luck.
RW didn't complete a pass for nearly TWO quarters in the Super Bowl. If that were Luck & the Colts, we'd have been down by 21+ points at that point. RW can rely on a great defense and running game to help him.

This has been what it was the whole time....
This is nothing new.
-
Disgusting.
I guess I can't blame them. If the NFL is only going to fine them & take away a draft pick who cares? They got what they wanted. They're going to the Super Bowl. The only way this can make an impact is if they do something before the Super Bowl. Something that will affect the game they CHEATED to get into.
-
Putrid franchise and organization.
Disgusting.
Even if they win this Super Bowl, they've STILL never won a Super Bowl without cheating.
-
Via mortreport:
NFL has found that 11 of the Patriots footballs used in Sunday’s AFC title game were under-inflated by 2 lbs each, per league sources.
-
They've cheated before... So wouldn't be surprising...
-
If this is true, not surprising.
They really are scum of franchises. For some reason the media loves to put a halo on cheaters.
-
And yet we beat Denver....Seattle, San Fran....
Enough said.
So are you saying you'd rather be stuck with Hilton, Rodgers, & Whalen than what we have now?
Just beating certain teams doesn't mean you had a better offense that year lol. Also, we still had Reggie for those games.
-
Ehh..
YES, ST much better...Offense much better? Statistically yes. Defensively we have gone down not up. We just haven't been able to compete with top tier qb/teams....last year we took them nearly all down...this year not 1.
Our WRs last year were Hilton, Whalen, and Rodgers.... Enough said.
-
I think we were a little better football team last year irsay...sure offensively we are "statistically better" but nothing more.
Offense and ST are MUCH better.
Defensively, we haven't improved much.

I always find it odd/funny that owners, GMs, coaches, etc. are almost ALWAYS late for press conferences. Not just the Colts, but all around the league.
Especially when they expect their players to ALWAYS be on time (or usually early).
-
He's signing a whopper.
DHB is coming back to us!
-
Please don't say something that will start drama.... Please....
-
...Who cares?

He had a great catch today.
I don't have a problem with Nicks. I honestly feel there are too many mouths to feed. With Hilton, Wayne, Moncrief, Fleener, Boom, Allen..... There are soo many weapons for Andrew it makes it look like Nicks is obsolete. Which, I don't believe is the case.

Fumbles can ruin your career.
HOLD ONTO THE BALL.
Colts re-sign QB Matthew Hasselbeck for 1 year

I like it. He's a vet leader and a great resource for Andrew & the rest of the players.
