  1. Posted this in another thread, but it deserves to be here too:

Anyone who honestly believes Irsay took a shot at Manning please self-check into the insane asylum.

IF anything it's a shot at Polian and even then that's a stretch. Honestly all Irsay was saying was changing our game plan. He believes the best way to win a Super Bowl is with a team that can play great defense, be great running the ball, and still be able to throw the ball as well (like the Pats, Ravens, Steelers SB years). Instead of solely relying on the passing game.

    Stop this nonsense.

  3. Call me crazy but... offensive playing calling was not the problem last night (minus the early 3rd down where Luck rolled left and threw an incomplete pass, that was a terrible play call).

We had 34 pass play calls and 13 run play calls (Luck ran for 4 of the pass calls). We just had terrible execution. The dropped pass by DHB which could have a been a touchdown. The dropped pass by Reggie on a key 3rd down. The drop by Fleener that would have been a huge game, if not a touchdown. The drop by Richardson on a screen where he had room to run and blockers in front of him.

The plays were there, we just didn't execute. I also feel like Pagano made some terrible decisions. Should have went for it a couple times on 4th down after realizing our defense was gassed and couldn't stop a nose bleed.

  5. Agreed 100%. I was at the game Sunday and there was MANY times we thought there was a flag on the field to only find out that it was a players towel that fell out of their pants.

I support breast cancer awareness 110%, but the pink penalty flags have got to go. Love everything else though.

  6. Our crowd can be kinda passive and quiet, actually. Lotta older folks sitting down, tinkering with their phones. I've actually been quite embarrassed by our crowd of late.

I've had season tickets since 2005, and the Raiders game this year was pretty dang loud. Probably one of the loudest at LOS (not counting RCA Dome as RCA Dome was almost ALWAYS loud). Miami game wasn't that great this year though..

Hopefully this game is like the Raiders game in terms of loudness, and even more so!
