Xavier Rhodes should've been a Colt from the start, but instead we (Grigson) opted for Bjoern Werner.

Like I said earlier, don't panic.
Colts looked relaxed and playing back to basics.

One can argue that Marcus Johnson has been our best WR this season.
-
That Jack Doyle fumble really killed all the momentum, huh?
-
Not what I expected to start the game, but still... not panicking.
-
Not sure what happened but the offensive line blocking in the run department has taken a nosedive.
-
Not the time to panic yet.

It's difficult to say when you don't know who will be the starting QB next year.
If it's a rookie, expect a lot of growing pains. If it's a veteran like Phillip Rivers, they might be able to win now, but there are still glaring holes in the secondary and defensive line.

He was solidly okay (never close to the top 1/3 of coaches) and benefited as did the whole organization from Luck's stellar start.
Grigson couldn't draft. That's a big chunk of that era's story. I'm curious if/when more dirt about this time comes to light.
You can look at it in two ways. One is Grigson wasn't able to draft quality players, and Pagano wasn't able to do much with them. On the other hand, Grigson drafted players with talent, but Pagano wasn't able to develop them.
Either way, the pairing didn't work out.

There were too many games to count where the team looked unprepared and outmatched, which resulted in blowout losses.

Yes he was snubbed, but the Colts had a down year, so he was never going to win it.
Yep. Colts didn't win enough games. It's that simple.

All the "unretire" talk needs to end. It's not happening.

Only two:
(1) Home #12 Luck
(2) Away #87 Wayne

Ballard values home-grown talent. Not surprising that he'll look to get a long-term extension done.

Jim Irsay is going to introduce Edge at his HOF speech in Canton.

The odds of Clowney signing here are slim to none.

All this talk about a great quarterback. You have to understand that Burrow and Tua will be gone long before 13 so that leaves you with Love, Herbert or Eason. It's hard to believe that they would have a grade high enough to go at 13. So that's where the Colts are. Reach for a quarterback or take one in the second round
Honestly, I'd look to sign Rivers for a year rather than draft Love, Herbert, or Eason because none of their film impressed me.
Regardless, Ballard will add another starting-caliber QB, whether through FA or the draft.

49ers also robbed Jimmy G from New England. His market price (in terms of draft pick values) would be way higher than it once was.
