That was one of those that only a guy like Reggie catches.

It could definitely have been placed better even if you wanna kill Goodson for it.

    Tough night for us fans.

running backs dont  have the same catching ability as wrs  and a 4th string running back its even harder .

I was listening to something about the ravens the other day. They mentioned  their defense was good but it wasn’t getting it done in the modern nfl anymore. I kind of feel that’s where we are at with Bradley.

bradley is so focused on taking the deep ball away with zone defense .  its always cover 3 or something similar like cover 4 .  i hate playing a single high safety and making both corners play deep zones it makes medium range out routes easy .

This makes me want to cry.

its a harder catch then it looks like .   he had to run then completely turn around mid run and fall back towards the ball  while worrying about making the first down after the catch .    i dont know how minshew with zero pass rush cant throw a yard pass accurate and lead goodson .

I remember the people on this board that actually said that Minshew is better and should start over AR earlier on this season. I hope you feel dumb. As a starting QB, he's mediocre at his very best. Decent backup though, but that's it. The receivers didn't help him out a ton either tbh, but the bad drops does not excuse how inaccurate he was in key moments throughout the game. What a meh throw to end the season.

I don't believe in Pierce at all. The guy on the field across from Pittman can't simply be a distraction and very rarely a home run hitter. A distraction and a great run blocker can be the 4th WR on the roster, not the second WR who is on the field most of the game.

I also remember the people on this board that actually didn't think JT wasn't worth $14M per year. He's been that guy with absolutely mediocre QBs throughout most of his career. You're simply wrong. Special players are worth the money, even if you're paying more than the average starter at his position. He's going to look even better with AR next to him next year.

Bradley should have coached his last game as a DC. His zone defense will be ripped apart by Shroud and Lawrence going forward. Those two, especially Stroud, simply have good enough touch to exploit his defense. But besides the DL, the talent on the defense has been very lacking this year. I don't think Juju looks like he will ever be a great CB1, sorry. Maybe a decent CB2, but we need to add elite talent in the DB room. I could say the same thing about the LB position though unfortunately.

The only reason this doesn't sting as badly is because it's AR's era now. There's 0 doubt in my mind he would have won this game if he played. It's not like he could of done much worse then Minshew was passing. He only played 2.5 games this year but in that time, he played far, far, far more poised then anyone expected him to be. His biggest haters were saying he would average 40% passing and would be throwing picks galore. He didn't do either and had the ability to break huge plays every snap. Can't wait to watch that next year.

pierce is way to slow every passing play he is getting tightly covered . no break away speed and is a average route runner , he is only good on deep shots

How you put the ball in your back up quarterbacks hands and then throw to your 3rd string running back was just bad. That was some bad play calling in the red zone there.

Steichen gave them points by not pointing and giving it to them at mid field too.

    I hold jags win tomorrow.

it was a good play call goodson was wide open  .  minshew is just so inaccurate i cant wait to never watch him again . i will be so mad if he returns

I’m pretty sure he’s on a one-year deal, and if so, I highly doubt he stays. He might be able to get another starting role with a team like Washington, and other teams would probably pay him more to back up a QB they’re not sold on yet, like Ridder in Atlanta.

I for one would have liked to be AFC South champions for the first time in 10 years.

we can be next year  richardson looks electric get him weapons we will be okay

You don't mean that. Minshew is a competent backup.

he is if he goes in for a game or two  .... long stretches no way he stinks .  we got lucky with a really easy schedule and played a bunch of backup QBs .   i rather have a backup QB that at least can push the ball down field . this game manager type is hard to watch .

It was there for the taking and Shane has him throwing to a player who has boxing gloves for hands.  What a horrible use of personnel.

its better in the long run better draft position .  you really wanna watch minshew put up 100 yards passing in a playoff game ?  i rather not get embarrassed

Yeah? Not sure I agree with that. I mean it’s good to have a QB.

people are crazy going after shane ......  switch coaches and replay this game and give shane stroud ..   i think it would be a blow out .   shane was given a horrible QB who cant play very well and almost made the playoffs with bad wrs tightends and a average defense

Minshew is the reason we were this close in the 1st place, not many backup QBs could start for the majority of the season and end up with a winning record.

what about him made him keep us close ?  he has almost as many turnovers as touchdowns throwing under 200 yards a game .    if you wanna crown him crown him

Minshew can’t make a simple Play. Talk about coming up small. The guy literally didn’t make 1 throw tonight. Let a rookie outplay him. #k this team.

he is wanna of the worst QBs ive watched .   sub 200 yard average a game almost as many turnovers as touchdowns , cant throw deep inaccurate .

    1) Once again a Gus Bradley defense can't stop their grandmothers.

    2) #39 needs to be gone next year. He is a constant liability on defense.

    3) With the predictability of Steichen's play calling I don't believe the Colts will come back in this game.

minshew is still the biggest reason if the colts lose .  cant have a starting QB throw 100 passing yards , 54 completion rate 0 touchdowns and expect to win .    if we had even a slightly decent QB who can at least put up 200 plus passing yards we would be winnin

It was an attempt to take the lead, and a kick that is within Gay's range so I don't blame Shane for going for the points.

if gay was playing at a elite level i would agree .   the problem is gay has been bad the last couple weeks tons of misses , so attempting a 57 yard kick is a head scratcher
