  1. Right Guard, He may have just slimmed down for the Combine I think but I think I would take Winters over him at Right Guard

Makes sense. I just see you talking him up a alot and was a bit curious. Thanks for clarification.

  2. I think Jones is better suited for either our LG slot or Center and both are filled (seemingly) right now even if many of us are not high on the player or players that are there at least yet, Brian Winters or Travis Frederick or Kyle Long are guys Im lookin at in the 3rd, I'd like Jones, he might fit there but I dont see it UNLESS we are going to a Zone scheme, which I think could still be possible, Ultimately I want Cooper above all of those because I think he can fit either scheme

I see you talking about Frederick a lot, and I'm not educated enough on him to argue either way. But it was my understanding that he showed up to the combine 20 pounds lighter to convince teams he wanted to stay as a center. Do you want us to take him as a right guard, or as a center? Either way he's good, I'm just confused as to his role.

  3. OhdearGod you have to be kidding me. Schaub is ahead of 12. 12 isn't even superior to some of his fellow rookies yet. You really think a kid that squeezes the ball, throws INTs, and takes sacks like crazy is better than the guy leading a playoff team and SB contending team? Is there more potential for the young guy? Yeah, sure. But I still expect the veteran to get at least one ring before the young guy does. Alright, think what you will. Comparing Schaub's mental capacity to crazy Vince Young's is ridiculous too. But this is coming from a fanbase with a few members that thinks Chris Johnson is better than Arian Foster. I'm never surprised with you guys.

That's hilarious, the only reason he took sacks is because we had the second worst O-line in the nfl last year. Andrew Luck was sacked the most out of any QB last season. No I don't think Chris Johnson is better than Arian Foster, however, I would take Luck over Schaub any day. Schaub is easily the weakest link on that team.

  4. 1.Jonathan Cooper or best pass rusher available or Xavier Rhodes (one big name will drop, Im hoping Damontre Moore or Bjoern Werner)

3.Travis Frederick(I dont think he makes it to the bottom of the 3rd) or Brian Winters or Jaime Collins

4.D.J. Hayden or Kwame Geathers (I am not  thrilled with Mckinney) or Aaron Mellete or Travis Long

    6.Emory Blake

    7.Robert Lester or Brandan Bishop

    7.Joe Vellano

I usually love your picks Gavin, and for the most part I like this mock, however Emory has some problems that I just don't want in anywhere near the colts locker room. Otherwise a good mock! especially Joe in the 7th, he could be a beast!

  5. I think a legitimate case can be made for Fitz. I have missed a lot of posts so I do not know if this case has already been made, if it has I guess I am making it again.

Do I think it will happen ...probably not. But, the elements for it to happen do exist:

    1) The Bruce Arians connection.

    2) Fitz is at the age where his window to win a Superbowl is starting to close and he may be saying this behind closed doors ... The odds are against the Arizona getting all the pieces together to make real runs within time frame. The Colts are 1-2 years from being contenders; acquiring Fitz makes us legitimate contenders if not this year than definitely next year.

    3) With our 1st round pick (plus whatever other picks we have to give up) and their 1st they can easily both acquire a top QB and a top WR that is young enough to be in his prime by the time they have their team ready to contend.

    4) It makes sense for us because Fitz gives us Reggie's replacement and as I said earlier makes us legitimate contenders as early as this season.

I do not think the Arizona fans would like this move, but it would be a good move for their franchise in the longterm.

Honestly man, all valid points. However his monster contract is just TOO much for us too absorb. Theres no room for it.
