Yeah I should have worded it a bit different. I meant he’s got a quick release in situations where it counts. Not instantly panicking (Minshew) and making bad throws or moving out of the pocket. IF Flacco ever had to step in, I think he would be fine. Not saying for the entire season, but a few games like Cleveland or even just a few plays. Hopefully AR doesn’t miss a snap this year.

This is why I stopped responding to him. Dude is just doing his best to convince himself and others he is right. Any coach in the NFL would LOVE to have Flacco as a backup.

I was a defender of Leonard as much as I could be, but after seeing him last year in Indy and Philly, I think he just needs to call it a career. Unless something wild happens and he returns to form somehow, he should retire, count his money and maybe coach high school kids.

Flacco is a Super Bowl-winning QB that can still outperform several starters currently. Dude has a ton of knowledge and can easily teach AR several things. He wasn’t brought here to be the damn starter. He’s a backup and there isn’t a better backup in the league right now. Again… STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE.

Y’all can chill with the contract that Davis got. We badly needed a backup in that position who doesn’t * suck, and it’s a fair market price. He’s levels above what we were putting out there and used when Grover was suspended.
