Jarvis Jones OLB has moved up to the top spot on Kiper's big board. Do you still trade back if we have a chance to take him for a chace at an Offensive line prospect?
-
Wallace is kind of stuck as well, if steelers really want him they can franchise tag him next year and he can't do anything about it.
-
First, in free agency, we sign WR Mike Wallace to a deal worth about 5 years, 45 mil. I think thats a fair and good deal for us. We now have a #1 WR post Reggie Wayne. Luck now has some tremendous weapons in WRs Wayne, Wallace, Hilton, and Avery, as well as TEs Fleener and Allen. We may also bring in some depth at DL like a veteran NT to share time with Josh Chapman. Do that and we have a very good free agency period.
1st round (9th overall)
-Indy trades down into the late teens and gets a 2nd rounder back in the deal.
-Indy selects OG Chance Warmack, Alabama
-Great pick and value for the OL to hopefully finally give us a running game! Luck also loves this pick getting a big nasty to protect him.
2nd(via trade)- SS Kenny Vaccaro, Texas (Gives us a very good safety tandem in Bethea/Vaccaro. Zbikowski is simply a backup and is better at FS, so we need a SS for the future, and this pick makes our secondary that much better.)
3rd round- RT Alex Hurst, LSU (Gives us a very good RT and a good combo of OTs. If Ijalana can come back from his injury to be our other OG opposite Warmack, LOOK OUT for this OL! Even keeping Reitz will give us a very good backup at either OG or RT. I really like our OL now. )
4th round- CB Desmond Trufant, Washington (You can never have enough cornerbacks. Could easily be our nickel starter. )
Let me know what ya think!
Wallace probably will not sign for that.
Steelers offered 5 years 50 million and he turned that down. He want 11+ million per year.

I Think each game our young team will get better and better in this scheme on Offense and Defense especially for the rookies as they adjust to the NFL speed of the game. I thought the defense played well. Just need to be more aggressive towards the end of the game.
-
He just made an awesome tackle in the backfield!
He was destroying up the middle all day long. He Killed it.

Aaron Donald
Aaron Donald DT/DE PITT might be somebody to watch he's getting crazy pressure on somebody labeled the next Cam Newton in Logan Thomas now forced two Picks because he has been right in Thomas's Face all day long.
-
I'm here games not till tomorrow so i'll be here all day.
-
Ray Graham could be a good late round pick, he's recovering from ACL Surgery. But it's the big east so its hard to judge the talent level at times.
-
Pittsburgh VS Virginia Tech as well but thats because i live in Pittsburgh
-
I only have California VS Ohio State, Alabama VS Arkansas, are my main ones early in the day.
-
Hope Luck adjusts to the speed of the game here and Coby Fleener 9 catches 120 2 TD's

Protect your Franchise QB before you worry about a Defense.
-
In this pass-happy league we will play 3-3-5 (4-2-5 with Freeney) a lot. With only one ILB on a field. We have to make sure this one is a monster. Sorry, Pat Angerer is not a monster. We need best ILB on the draft.
We have not even seen Angerer in a real game with the defense. I think its too early to judge based on preseason.

I'm all for Trading down depending on the Pick. Get a second rounder and who knows what we will get for Garcon. Could upgrade O-Line and get a star defensive player depending where we finish the season.
-
How did he do? I did not get to see a lot of the game yet because of work. Was wondering if he was even targeted or just blocking every time?
-
I think O-Line is going to have to be #1 option going through free agency. You improve the O-Line it gives Luck a better pocket and improves the run game in front of the backs at the same time.
-
I forgot Peyton Threw for 800 yards 10 TD's and no Picks in his first ever NFL action. Wow people haha
-
Yes he showed flashes his rookie season and really showed up last year. He's another Willis just not as fast the way he is playing right now.
-
Will have to see at least a couple more games for Freeman. Want to see what he does against the Vikings.
-
I think Luck could carve up there secondary if O-Line gives him time. I'm concerned about Jared Allen, he had like 20 sacks last year. There defense is not much besides maybe that D-Line.
-
He's been here two weeks going against a top 10 WR give him time to adjust and for the whole team to learn the Defense, remeber Arizona Defense did not start clicking till about week 8 last year. When the switched to the aggressive 3-4 defense.
-
I really liked the one catch where two Bears defenders hit Fleener and he was still upright then fell forwards for a few more yards. Hopefully he gets consistant...soon.
I also believe he will get better as the season goes on and he improves his route running and catching. He's a rookie so i'm looking for progress this year as with every rookie. It was glad to finally see what is to come from him though.
-
I agree. Our D-line needs to be improved at NT and DE. They gotta command the double team and hold gaps for the linebackers to get through, which in return will help out our secondary a ton.
Yes, I believe Davis will get better as well. He's been here two weeks and going against a top 10 WR in the NFL and people are getting on him. Saying we should never have made the trade. It takes people time to adjust. Makes me shake my head sometimes.

Give Grigson time to Build around Luck and then we will see, Give him an O-line and run game like were trying to focus on.

Where did that come from. You would need a new Player if anyone suffered a Career ending injury.
