Do you guys get bored during the offseason and just try to come up with stupid and dumb ideas to waste time. Wow you can't be serious with all of these threads...
-
Please no no no to Cruz. If we give up our 1st rounder I see this being a horrible draft with having so few picks.
-
Don't want Cruz need to keep our 1st round pick. Wouldn't mind Floyd. Think h could be a star with luck throwing o him.
-
I don't see any WR's worth trading for that we won't have to give up a huge deal or number of picks for.
-
If we got him...I would die from a massive heart attack because of how excited I would be.
Washington a good/ will be great young player who is on a rookie deal still and would be great to have in the middle of the defense.
-
Patrick Peterson... Now that would be an insane secondary... Daryl Washington maybe he's young enough...
-
Are you serious with this thread... :o
-
No way getting rid of bethea. Not unless we're getting Earl Thomas...
-
We would probably get a 6th for him. I'd rather keep him at this rate and see what he can do since be will be more comfortable in he system now.
-
Good signing if he can stay healthy.

Wow didn't think he was going to be that much...
-
i dnnt know about set, hes alright but hes not no lockdown CB either.

They dont roll over cap dollars, so we have to spend or we loose it.. Im shocked so far especially about Vasquez. We shouldve went hard and heavy and it seems we're just putsin around with Avril. If we lose out on the gaurds as it looks like we have, then we better be ponying up some cash for victor Cruz..
yes Victor Cruz.. Our first and a 2 next year for cruz and the giants second rounder should do it.. Ha!!
In all seriousness.. we need a corner big time. Probably gonna be Cason
Theres no reason to give up next year Picks. Cruz is a #2 WR at best were looking for a #1 to replace Reggie and i think he was tagged with a first Rounder not 100% sure on that though.

well. i guess i said that wrong. i do care about who the colts draft. but i dont follow college football at all so i dont know whos good and who isn't besides the 1st rounders.
Lol, ok it sounds better now

You keep saying "most big boards" in this and other threads. Are you talking about mock drafts? Because if you are, they mean nothing. Or Are you actually saying you are aware of teams big boards and who they have on them, because that can't possibly be true and we all know it.
I think he means like Mel Kiper and draft analysts that create big boards through out the season and off season.

Levitre would be huge upgrade in the center of the O-Line if we can sign him, does not even look like the bills are going to throw a offer at him. So I think he's as good as done in buffalo.

It's nice to dream I guess...

While i understand your concern about age, I think it's premature of us, and somewhat irrational, to dismiss this guy as a late round pick, based on his age, but potentially immediate impact. Most of our favorite players, do not give us consistently, 3 to 5 years of the SAME stat lines that we've come to expect, because it generates, and manifests into wins for his team. After a dominating season, teams look at game tape, and plan their schemes around removing THAT players effectiveness towards their game plan, which result in weak stats, due to doubleteams, blocking schemes, and zone coverages created specifically to stop that guy. Case in point Jason Pierre-Paul. In 2011 he registered 65 tackles, 21 assists, 16.5 sacks, then comes back the next year and gives us 43 tackles, 23 assists, 6.5 sacks. What happened to JPP in 2012? He's only 24.....While age can be a factor, a 26 year old Margus Hunt, has a greater upside than a 29 year old Brandon Weeden. If the Colts can squeeze out 7 years of productivity that result in 2 or 3 more Lombardi trophies, the Colts will have received an awesome return on their investment, in taking Margus Hunt in the 1st round.
I'm also concerned how fast he can make an impact. I haven't seen much tape on him, but from what I hear some of his tape leaves a lot to be desired.

May wish list for free agency is to some how sign Levitre, and Vasquez (I think that's spelled wrong) for the interior and see how Shipley does as full time center or find a way to grab Barrett jones in the draft would actually give Luck time to step up in the pocket.
-
Isn't Cason the guy who gave up that huge game to Plax a few years back vs the Jets. I know it's just one game but I'm not a fan of his for our system.
-
Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel comfortable taking a guy who will be older then Luck, Ballard, fleener, T.Y, and Allen.
He could turn out great, but Its kinda like taking Brandon weeden last year for the browns. He's as old or older then Arron Rogers. Just not worth the first round pick IMO.

I would love to see Elam here. Just don't know if that happens unless we plan to let bethea go when his contract is up. Maybe have a Elam and Landry combo in the future.
