I believe he'll stay healthy and play the whole season we really need him because I dont need collie to get another concussion

smh out of all the players to get a hamstring injury....bethea is NOT who I wanted to get hurt even tho I dont want to see nobody get hurt but bethea plays a very big role on our defense

He ran Ray Lewis over in the 09 playoff game. That sold me on Donald. He has put on more weight and has become much faster. He'll be a threat on our team for sure.
ray lewis has been ran over quite a few rb's in the past couple of seasons....dude is old he's not as strong as he used to be

Thanks brightlights, I think I realize that Andy Dalton is better than McElroy. Hmmm, really he meant nothing to the team... that's why he went to the College HOF, that's why he only threw a combined 9 interceptions in his junior and senior year, to a combined 37 touchdowns. I don't watch too much college, but I did keep a close eye on Alabama and McElroy especially, and he really impressed. Him going in the 7th round is a steal. Either way, I'm a Colts writer, and an even bigger Colts fan, meaning I'm an NFL fan, so maybe I'll be wrong about this guy, because he's only been in one game, but an impressive one. We'll have to wait and see his progression.
ok you need to realize mcelroy isnt that good and him being in the college hall of fame doesnt define how good he is....there are bums in the hall of fame also so that doesnt mean much.....bottom line he's with the jets for insurance purpose they have like 7 qb's on their roster who's to say he will be a good nfl qb? very few thinks that

I do know what I'm talking about. McElroy is a great backup with a tone of potential. He is better than Painter, and Orlovsky, not to mention that he's cheaper than both of those guys, b/c of the rookie contract. All we had to give up was that 6th round pick which went to Rucker, who will have only 2 snaps and not make a difference on our team. Do some research before writing what you said.
naw you really dont.....mcelroy was part of college team who had a great defense and great running game....he was no x factor to that alabama team....andy dalton is better than mcelroy

Mike hart was not a 1st round draft pick and was always injured. Brown on the other hand was showing good signs late into the season when he went down with a hammy now he's back so i think fans are gonna see much more from him.
yeah but he was well known in michigan.....he was fast too that's why we picked him addai needed a backup anyway....he had to battle for a job against chad simpson smh terrible draft pick

houston is still no threat to me.....as long as they have schaub as qb they wont make it far plus their schedule is way tougher than ours so they wont make it to the playoffs again

This is the smartest post in this thread. Brown outrushed Addai last year, yeah for 2 yards but still. When he has been given room he has run well. Also his burst of speed is something that Addai doesn't have.
Nobody can run well when the Dlineman are already in the backfield when you get the ball. Even Chris Johnson couldn't do anything with our blocking.
Improve the run blocking and you will see a very good rb. As far as his blocking that is something that he can learn and improve upon.
I also think his blocking is overplayed because of that youtube clip of Manning yelling at Donald. What other plays has he messed up his blocking on?
lol sad thing is addai was hurt last season and didnt play but only 8 games

i think i threw up in my mouth. the guy sucks at tackling and is average at best at covering. i remember last year season opener where he takes a terrible angle at foster and completely missed and ive seen plenty of times where ive seen rbs run right over him.
dude you must've forgot about 4th and 2 in 09.....I like melvin he can hold it down we'll see what he does this season
