How much film did you watch this week to determine what our defensive scheme should be? How much time do you spend watching our individual talents are and how we best interact together on the field? Success of coverage is somewhat dictated by defensive line play. All of football is dependent on line play.
This just didnt start happening, this has been a problem for a while even we were in the lead I still didnt like that type of coverage but hopefully they will make adjustments very soon

Zone coverage isn't a problem but 10 yard cushions are. Are the Colts really going to stick with a scheme that's best suited when they have a lead?
That's the main problem with this zone everytime they play it they play 10 yards off like wth? man coverage would be better tell the cb's to tighen up the coverage plus they leave the middle of the field open on 3rd downs most of the time which is bad smh they need to tighten up period

STOP running that zone defense we're not built for that we're better at man coverage.....the zone we run we leave all types of wide open holes and another thing when powers was covering andre johnson he tried to bump him off his route smh....dude johnson is way better than you dont even try that just play a little off coverage and jump in front of his route if he cuts to the middle and pick him off but if I lived in indy I would suggest that to the defensive coordinator because we suck in zone coverage

We are probably 8-8 or 7-9 at best with Collins as the starter. Our schedule is pretty brutal. If the Texans can't win the division this year, they need to be slapped.
Why do some of ya'll keep saying that? manning is not done for the season.....we're talking one game atleast....that doesnt define our whole season smh

What they are saying is: "We dont know. Things havent gotten much better"
If he does not practice this week, its clear he wont play this week../This isnt a playoff game.
..We'll reevaluate next Monday...and hope for the best.
Yeah that's what it's look like now since he cant practice no need to get prepared for sunday's game

Indianapolis Colts Statement on Peyton Manning’s Status
In response to a number of media inquiries, the Colts issue the following update on Peyton Manning’s status.
During the last week, the rate of improvement in Peyton’s rehabilitation process slowed. Over the weekend Peyton experienced soreness in his back. It was originally thought to be a normal reaction to his rehabilitation regimen. When the soreness persisted, the Colts medical team decided to initiate diagnostic tests and to consult with a number of specialists around the country who have been involved in Peyton’s case from the outset. That process continues. As a result of the most recent development the doctors have decided that Peyton will not practice. His participation therefore, in Sunday’s game versus Houston will likely be doubtful. We will update his playing status as required by NFL policy as the week goes on.
At the conclusion of the diagnostic process, if there are any new developments in the prognosis which we outlined for Peyton at the start of training camp we will report them. As of now Peyton continues to deal with a complicated neurological recovery, the end date of which is unpredictable.
As was stated at the outset, it serves no useful purpose to speculate about hypothetical outcomes. When and if there are concrete medical facts to report we will do so.
We appreciate your consideration in this matter.
I personally still believe Peyton will have his hands under Jeff Saturdays butt come sunday. Although I think it will be a last min decision.
exactly....I think they're really nervous about his recovery but he's just human he aint superman

I dont understand why we play 20 yard coverage like you're asking to lose the game just terrible coverage that's why the packers won

but the D changes with Clark on the field. manning likes mismatches and I think most Ds are forced to pay attention to Wayne and now also Clark. Basically leaving Collie with a lot of 1 on 1 mismatches. I think Clark actually increases Collie's numbers this year and he gets OVER on yards and maybe under on TDs due to a better running game this year.
right clark can get doubled team across the middle because that's a very easy how the colts can get a 1st down.....look back at the jets playoff game in 2010 collie killed them in the slot I believe he'll be under a thousand yards this season the colts want to take it easy on him

and what you think we would do better in zone coverage with the cb's we have now? you have to have very good cb's to pull off a good zone coverage we cant do that we would do better with man coverage especially against the short passes that's why we're getting beat just about every other play because they play off way too far
