At this point, I would fire Ballard and promote Ed Dodds to GM and Morocco Brown to Assistant GM. That will keep them from being poached and will allow us to keep Shane Steichen since Dodds would like him. We need to try something new. Dodds is going to go soon IMO if he isn't promoted to a GM role. Same with Morocco Brown. Last thing we need is to keep Ballard and lose both Dodds and Brown in the offseason. Rather lose Ballard and promote Dodds and Brpwn.

    Ballard isn't getting fired

Some big decisions to be made and those can’t be mad there is a decision on Bradley and if a new DC is brought in. I don’t think it is a  for gone conclusion we bring Moore and Grover back.

    Grover deserves his money

He didn’t really get cut as much as he got waived.  We wanted to put him on the practice squad but he was picked up on waivers.  It’s the risk you take.  There was another player whose name escaped me that we lost in the same way and I remember Ballard being very unhappy about it.  There’s only so many active roster spots.

What led to him not making the cut was him getting out played by jaylon jones....of course they wanted to keep him on the practice squad but he slipped away

that’s what you should be doing against a good pass rusher, but it is usually a te and then releases for a check down pass. I don’t know why you would have a wr doing it unless he is a better blocker than your te. If that’s the case, all the colts te’s should be cut and get some new ones!!

Yeah they should've had a tight end help block since they don't use them in the passing game much

No, that game really isn't important for this one for this WC scenario. I went back and re-entered. However if Jaguars lost both games we would be Division champs. I didn't do any of those as we know we need to play a game better than Jags over last 2. Not too much to look at there.

    Just need:

Bills to lose to the Patriots

    Texans lose to the Titans

    Steelers lose to the Seahawks

    Bengals lose to the Chiefs

    Chargers lose to the Broncos

    Then week 18:

    We lose to Texans

    All we need is:

    Browns to beat Bengals

There is so many different scenarios, I just put out a few. This was a work off a different one.

Regardless you still want the jags to lose....if they win a game that won't help us at all....the division us still up for grabs

This is fourth year in the NFL.  He’s yet to play a full season, he’s had an ankle injury in the past, he missed a part of camp this year with a hamstring injury, he had a torn ACL coming into the NFL.  The Achilles was the most serious injury but not the only one.  I am not saying they will let him walk but they will consider his injury history before making a decision on him they would be fools not too.

He's only missed a couple of games other than that so again he hasn't missed that many games....he was having his best season before he got hurt and the safety is depth is not deep....like I said I doubt they let him walk

    Another scenario:

If we beat Raiders and lose to Texans(alternate scenario)

    Would Need:

    Week 17:

    Bills lose to the Patriots

    Panthers lose to the Jaguars

    Texans lose to the Titans

    Steelers lose to the Seahawks

    Bengals lose to the Chiefs

    Chargers lose to the Broncos

    Week 18:

    Titans lose to the Jaguars

    Bills lose to the Dolphins

    Raiders lose to the Broncos

Hardest thing there on paper is Bills losing to Patriots, everything else seems more than plausible.

We win one of the last 2(9-8), especially the Texans game(which you've stated lose to Raiders) most likely we are in the playoffs.

Only Texans, Colts, Steelers, Bengals can get to 10 wins, and only 3 actually can. Seems more likely that none of them will and 9 wins will be the mark.

We own most the tie breakers now and we will own most of them then.

You mean jags lose to the panthers right?

He’s a free agent who has had several injury concerns.  You consider those things before giving players new contracts.

What several injuries? The most he missed was in the 2021 season because he tore his achilles other than that he's been reliable
