I see what you did there.
But, will there be room for the Texans in the playoffs after the Colts win the South and the Titans grab a WC? ;) J/k. I think.
Hahaha, I'm glad you caught it. Well if the Colts win the South then I expect us to fight dirty against the other teams that want a WC...lol since Finnegan is gone now, we won't have to risk losing Andre due to a fight.

What I think? I think it was a meaningless trade that brought another depth guy, I've accepted we arent gonna make iany big moves and cant , we have what we have at Corner and linebacker at least at starter and we are gonna stick with it, as far as our defense goes I have already turned my attention to next years draft, I will enjoy this offense coming together this year barring any big injuries of course but we are still far off on defense
I agree. Vaughn isn't all that, either. But I see where the FO is trying to go with this...they are making sure the fans know that they are focusing on that defense.

Thats doesnt sound logical considering 7 wins wont get us into the playoffs and all that would get us would be middle of the pack draft picks in every round not high enough to draft the top talent at every position but not low enough to draft the less talented yet draftable talent, if were going to lose we might as well get something very good out of it not to mention if and when Freeney is let go the higher we draft the better our chances are we find a good replacement. I mean look how it worked out for us this past year, sure we were awful but everyone really expected it, at least everyone that was reasonable, we got the first pick in the draft we drafted Luck. So that took care of our quarterback issue assuming he works out well of course). we could get the number 1 pick agan and trade it for a kings ransom of draft pick. I think its silly just to hope for a 7 win team, what does that really accomplish considering we lack pieces on defense. My pride also tells me win as many as we can but my brain says, get a high draft pick so we can draft top talent in the draft to be a force again in the near future
I certainly didn't expect the Colts to go 2-14. I'm sure that it surprised many others in the league as well. Next year, however, is a different story...I am sure the top defensive player in the draft next year will be very wary of the Colts, especially if he is a CB or safety.

They are a team that could go either way, good or bad. More than likely good...It will be interesting to see them compete for a wild card.

The Texans were a joke for ten years, so let him live it up a little. He only has about a two year window to do so.
I'm not going to start this again...Sigh. If only you guys could be realistic around here. Two years? Yeah right.

Check it out, a mercenary trollin' for the Patriots. It's ok, I'd be bitter too if Manning spanked my team for over a decade.
I was just razzing, it seems someone has no sense of humor. And for the record, Manning is a Bronco now buddy.

Likely, but remember that those guys are evaluated heavily during Training Camp practices and scrimmage games. The Preseason games just confirms what the coaches already see during the week.
True, but in the preseason they are going against actual opponents rather than each other. I see the starters playing for 2 and a half quarters each game to be honest. Well, Luck will be anyway...Gotta see what he can do in crunch time.

Roger Staubach wasn't bad.
Lol. The guy I'm talking about wears number 12 like Staubach, but he plays in New England.

I dont buy the whole "colts roster is so depleted that the colts are a lock for the #1 pick" I reserve that right to the Vikings. Freeney, Mathis, Angerer, Bethea, Wayne, Powers, Satelle, Redding + any surprise rookies + propper COACHING should give us at least 5-7 wins.
might be a homer tough
Optimism. I like it.

Or, the 2012 Colts might be the 2011 Colts.
Have some patience. We have a rookie QB, rookie head coach, rookie GM, and one of the weakest rosters in the league.
The greatest QB I've ever seen only went 3-13 his first season.
Really? The greatest quarterback I've ever seen went 11-5 and won the Super Bowl his first starting season.

Irsay would ask what is the box?
On Twitter.

He doesnt care... (honey badger reference for those who dont know that is his nickname)
. If you guys do take him in the first round, or anyone for that matter, he will be the third "elite" corner taken in the first round three years straight. They must be putting something in the water there.

bad blood over mario leaving huh
Just a little.
-
how long til tebow is the starting qb, ill give til after week 1 when sanchez gets killed by mario williams
Heck, Mario might even tear a ligament or something while killing Sanchez.
-
Im sure he does and if given the chance Im sure Brady will likely make him look like he has more left then what he really does
Yep...Brady has a tendency to do that
-
I think I agree with your statement.
Ditto.
-
And Luck will be Powers' first target when rookie hazing begins...Lol. But it's good that he's standing up for himself.
-
Jets! Even though I hardly consider them a good team.

Vladmir, is that you? I thought you were a Patriots fan.
Lol who is Vladimir?

!
Well perhaps you have an assistant dictatorial position available? I'll send you my resume. You could teach me and I could be your successor.
yeah I think that could work. Sounds fun.
-
It may be pointless at this point, but I suppose analysts like to go back and look at their correct, revised projections as compared to the pre-season projections, just to see how accurate they were, or, perhaps, just for fun.

I had enough heart to stop an incoming semi truck from crashing off a bridge because I always dreamt about being a super hero.
I've always wanted to be a Russian dictator as well. I gotta get working on that.
Nope, the Russian dictator position is already taken. I've worked all my life to get to this point, and you are not going to take it away from me.

I don't have a ton of faith in TN until proven otherwise.
If someone knocks off Houston I think it might have to be the Colts. Again.
But, we don't know how soon this thing will get rolling. If it does. I still have a hunch Indy might be in the WC race if things work out though.
Yeah, I believe that Luck can beat Jaggert and possibly Locker as well, if TN goes in that direction. Heck, even Hasselbeck...He is not what he used to be.
-
True. And same with us but who knows with the new faces and youngins.
The AFC is OPEN for Houston this coming season. They could take advantage. Or else a usual suspect like NE or Pitts jumps back in the SB. Both get the breaks when they need them usually.
Houston though if they keep it up defensively has the best shot in the AFC maybe to deal with some of those top NFC offenses since they can also put up points.
Packers at Texans will be a telling game to us next season. So will Texans/Patriots.
Yep, the Packers at Texans is definitely a circle on the schedule. I have secretly been wondering how we would fare against Rodgers, Matthews, and Woodson. Hopefully we will fare well...I also wouldn't mind seeing the big number 12s going against each other in Indianapolis as well. Maybe that is that game where you guys dominate an unexpected opponent...As good as the Packers are, I don't like them very much. And if we beat Brady I will do seven backflips because of the confidence it would instill in me! Lol.

He also gets rid of all American debt and uses his fist to punch out war and attain world peace...Wait, that's Chuck Norris.
