  1. NO I am not overreacting, NO I am not going to bash the coaching staff, NO I am not makeing excuses for the lost. However what I will do is stress why we need to turn LUCK loose!!! I know many of you will stress he threw the ball 46 times.(bah, bah, bah) However I am not concerned with only the volume in which we pass the ball, I am more so concened with what we do with those pass attempts.

1.Have we not look good when we stretched the field with 4 & 5 wides? (show it more often)

    2. Luck has found room running the ball when we were in shotgun & 4&5 wide sets....(Seems to see the field better and allows tims for our receivers to get open down the field)

    3. Donald tends break his bigger runs after we have went down the field a few times (via draws)

    4. Every time we are in a 2 minute hurry up style offense, we produce plays. WHY NOT MORE.. (especially coming out of halftime we our offense has stalled)

    5. Our lineman are beat up and not cohesive at the moment......however they are doing a decent job in pass protection. So pass until it until they stop it! Our running game is not setting up the pass...stop saying it! (Luck was our leading rusher)

    6. I feel as if we are trying to ease LUCK into the fire! If we are going to lose a game, I rather lose with our best player being aggressive down the field. (OUR STRONGEST POSITION OUR RECEIVERS AND TIGHT ENDS)

    7. TY is poised for stardom, Donnie is back to his old self, and REGGIE IS REGGIE.... AIR IR OUT!

LET THE MAN BE THE FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK HE IS PLEASE.

  2. The orginal intent isn't to say there is absolute the no need to have a run game. The intent is to state;

    A. When we moved away from the run game Sunday it is because we had to

    B. You can win witout running the ball, does that equate to a championship...not often

    C. For now we are a passing team until we draft players or sign players who can help us become more effective.

  3. I am so tired of hearing prople say, you must run the ball to set up the run.... Yes this was how the game of football used to be play, however this is no longer the case.

Green Bay never runs the ball nor do they try!

The Saints occassional run the ball but you do not throw for 5,000 yards establishing the run

New England throws the ball religiously...

The list goes on and on..

We tried to establish the run game early in the Bears game. To avoid being laughed off the field we put the ball in the air. The only time we gained positive yards in the run game is when we ran draws and delayed handoffs. Peyton did not establish the run after Edge left. Our run game was so bad our playaction attack was no longer effective. Harrison will be a hall of famer because of EDGE and our ability to use play action. However this is not a threat any longer whatsoever!!

So cut it out with the run game in regards to Sunday. We haven't ran the ball well against poor defenses, so why would think we would go into Soldier field thinking we would be effective against the BEARS defense honestly. Until we have a draft in which we draft some stud lineman and make a trade or two for some depth at the position, this is Andrew's Lucks show totally.

We must throw the ball at least 35 times a game to be effective. I hope we continue the trend of throwing the ball. However I hope better decisions are made by Luck and that we improve our protection some. I also think having Collie and TY out there, makes a huge difference too.

  4. Excellent Trade... We picked Jerry Hughes as our number 1 pick a few years and we are just now seeing glimpes. So we make a trade and get a 1st round player for a 2nd round pick who can start right now and produce at a high level and we complain.....wow...

Everyone has cried out how much we needed a corner and we get one who can flat out play and we still find things to gripe about.

  5. If we trade for Welker, we are instantly a playoff team this year! Our offense will become unstoppable. Welker has been a top 4 receiver the last 5 years. This trade would also suggest that the staff is 100% confident that our defense will be fairly good this year.

  6. To this point, Grigson has been excellent in his decision making and managing of this team. If he is working the lines for a blockbuster trade, then I believe this trade will work in our favor. I love everything about the approach we are taking to win NOW. If we give up high draft picks now to get a proven winner, then expect us to make a big splash in free agency. This regime has multiple approaches to build our team and make us better and I love it. Stay aggressive Grigson!!!!!

  7. We have been very vanilla in regards to what we have shown defensively. We will be very solid!! Mathis and Freeny will cause havoc. Trust me we havent shown anything that people can watch on film yet. Our secondary will make plays simply because of the pressure we will apply. Freeny and Mathis will line up everywhere on our line. I am impressed with our linebacker play. We look more athletic and we are flying around laying wood.

  8. I thought we looked good tonight. If you take away the one big play by Brown, we shut them down. We did an excellent job against the run and we applied pressure on Big Ben while he was in the game. We are truly building a monster...I am impressed!
