  1. As a Colts fan I'm upset with everything from the play calling.. defense.. O-line.. to the terrible FG kicking.

    But..

Understanding how the game works.. I seen all this coming like most of us did. We knew that this team would have a ruff year with all the new changes that where made(The new system.. coaches and players)

We still can't run or stop it. Just two of the many problems we have. The one thing that still bothers me to this day is the fact we got two top DE's in the league as LB's.. That's like turning a CB to a WR just because he's fast.. stupid IMO.

Anyway... We just have to take our lumps and keep moving forward.

  2. Brown is not the problem at all..

You can't run up the middle when there is a wall of defenders waiting to make contact soon as Luck hands the ball off.

You can't run left or right when four defenders alone are enough to crush the O-Line.. leaving LB to feed on your flesh.

You can get any RB in the NFL and would get the same results. Bottom line.. RB run through holes.. they don't make them.

When Brown is given a good hole to hit and a few blocks (when the O-Line does their job) he is a good RB with great speed. Ok.. he did drop a few passes. That will change when he calms down and catches the ball before he tries to run with it (easy fix).

  3. I don't know why anybody in the state of Indiana is surprised by "fans" jumping ship when we lose.. and jumping back on board when we win. This is all I have been seeing from this city for years now.

It's what I have been saying forever..

Colts fans got spoiled from our decade of success by the former regimes until one unexpected bad season last year.. now can't take a loss.. plain and simple.

  4. Luck doesn't deserve to take the blame for the whole teams performance.. but he is the starting Qb and made alot of mistakes today. I don't care who you are. You can't win a game with that many turnovers.

  5. I said this when we were argueing over paying Manning or cutting him. What good is Luck to us if hes hurt in 2 years?

We need overhaul the lines on both sides of the ball.

Its frustrating to see them replace the one good thing we had going on but not do anything about the bad things.

We STILL cant stop the run or run the ball.

If Luck can stay alive for the duration of this season, we should be able to draft some talent.

    So true....

  6. We would have went to the SB that year even if Sponge Bob had been our Head Coach.

If that was the case.. then why haven't we won more than one superbowl? The team we had that year was the same team we had for years. To say Caldwell had nothing to do with the success of that year is laughable.

  7. As much as I would love to be on the teams roster and in the actual locker room with the Colts.. I'm not. With that said.. I can't say how good Chuck is or will be. I'm just a fan watching the game from a far. People tend to lean towards a certain coach or player just because they like them personally for whatever their own unknown reasons are.

Since I personally have never been on the Colts team or in the meetings and locker room with these coaches.. I have to look at what the teams production is.. and what the players have to say about the coach.

Dungy was the man. He lifted this team from the ashes and made the Colts a winning football franchise.. and helped produce our first Superbowl win in Indy. His work on and off the field was unbelievable. The players had tons of good things to say about the man and so did the fans. Indy was once just known for Reggie Miller and the Pacers till Dungy came and helped turn it into Colts nation.

Caldwell made history by taking the Colts to a superbowl in his first season as head coach.. and then the following year got us back to the playoffs despite over 20 guys being on injured reserve. People want to give all the credit to Peyton for those years because when he stepped off the field last season we where terrible. I can't fully agree with that. Yes... losing Peyton for the season was a major factor... but people over look all the other issues we had with bad players and injuries that helped us sink. To say this man was nothing but a terrible coach because he wasn't entertaining to watch.. is stupid.

Chuck seems like a good guy who knows football. I think he will have great success.. but right now it's too early to give him a full head coaching report.

  8. Not sure what's the point about this thread.. but what do you want to see different?

It doesn't matter whether a coach is breaking down the post game play with a calm tactful demeanor while smiling.. or is jumping up and down and yelling and screaming out of control while sweating.

It's all about who was victorious when the last whistle went off.

Our exceptional years of success proves that(Despite one bad year).
