Yeah... Vikings best shot is mistake free QB play.
Same for Colts, but barring any 'Tony Romo meltdown' performance from Luck, I feel like we can overcome a couple of turnovers.
-
Seems somewhat fair, after all Colts get 0 love.
It is at Baltimore, but I expect it will be BAL (-3.5) by kickoff.
Rookie QB, away game... I expected it to be more like BAL (-8.5) at this point.
-
Hmm...maybe I shouldn't have cut him in Madden.
-
I can deal with that. Probably will be closer as we get closer to kickoff.
For those interested.
HOU (-4.5)
GB (-8)
SEA (-1)

Jesus, shut up Michaels and Collinsworth.
"RG3 can fix the fiscal cliff" that has to be the dumbest quote I've ever heard.
He was just filling out the RG3 Mad Libs they had in the press guide.
-
Oh Al... loves him some word play.
-
Meanwhile at Lucas Oil Stadium...
-
Redskins. They'll be 9-6-1 over Dallas's 8-7-1.
Thanks. I should have checked out the standings. I thought they were already tied in standings. My bad.
-
Who gets the spot if the game ends in a tie?
-
It should be a mirror cover. The customers that pay $60 every year should be on the cover.
-
Totally agree. We should reward the players we took a chance on that played well, but look to upgrade weak positions. Try to keep most of the band together. The "Cut Pete Best and sign Ringo Starr" philosophy.
-
I could see Teo going anywhere from 7th(Buffalo seriously needs a ILB) to late first to where Baltimore will need there future ILB, The combo of Suggs, Teo, Mcclain or Upshaw, Kruger could be a very good Linebacker core going forward if Suggs returns to his usual form next year and if Lewis retires, if Lewis dont then put Teo next to Lewis for a year and try rotating Upshaw in with Kruger
I think if the draft were tomorrow he'd be drafted top 5 either by someone in the top 5 or someone trading into the top 5.
By April, who knows.

How are we determining busts? Are we taking into account where they were drafted or just looking at lack of production?
What's the general consensus on when we can actually start determining gem or busts? Year 3? Do I ask too many questions?
You also have to take into account the scheme the player was drafted into. I think Jerry Hughes should come to all Colts fans minds.
We should also take the lack of surrounding talent into account. As said in previous posts, Blackmon probably will be pretty good with a better QB.
-
Nah dont need him
Agreed and it doesn't really make sense from his perspective either. He either
1) Wants big money that we probably won't offer or
2) Wants a team that will immediately compete for a championship and while I think we can compete, if I was Steven Jackson I'd rather go to the Pats or Packers.

Free Agents - Arthur Jones DE, Louis Vasquez OG, Sabastian Vollmer RT, Dashon Goldson S, Dwayne Bowe WR.
Draft- 1st round Xavier Rhodes CB, 3rd round Sean Porter or Kyle Van Noy, 4th round OG, 6th and 7th round OLB and 34 DE to groom.
Team would look something like this:
QB - Luck., Stanton.
RB - Ballard, Brown, Carter.
WR- Wayne, Hilton, Bowe, Brazill, Whalen.
TE - Fleener, Allen.
RT - Vollmer, Justice, RG - Vasquez, Ilajana, C - AQ Shipey, Satele LG - Rietz/4th rnd pick. LT - Castonzo.
DE Jones, Redding, Moala, late draft pick.
OLB Porter/Van Noy, Mathis, Hughes.
MLB Angerer, Conner, Freeman, Fokou
CB Davis, Rhodes, Butler, Vaughn.
S Bethea, Goldson, Lefeged.
I'd rather see us spend money elsewhere then on Bowe. Nothing against Bowe. We should draft a receiver in the mid to late rounds or go with someone cheap in free agency.
-
Isn't it awesome what the Colts have accomplished in a year? It still blows my mind.
-
I trust that Grigson and Pagano are better than any of us at judging football talent.
Probably true, but we won't know how well they evaluate for at least a year.
-
I think it will be
1.Wayne
2.Collie
3.Brazill
4.Hilton
5.Avery
Practice Squad
Anderson
Although I think it would be wiser to put Avery there do to past injury concerns because he may be less likely to be picked up do to that simple fact alone.
I'd make Anderson the 5th wide receiver and Avery PS as the roster stands now anyway
Anderson? Who's that?
Change your mind on Kris Adams already?
-
with out a doubt. i would be shocked if he doesnt make the team. I remember people here saying he was just a camp body
People always say that if they haven't heard of them before.
-
I think he makes the roster as our 6th WR. He brings some size to the position and has the potential to be a playmaker.
-
Dominique Jones?
He looked pretty good. 46 yard touchdown reception from Harnish.
I think we've seen the end of Evans. He fumbled in the 4th.
-
Over/under Gruden calls Luck by his new pet nickname 3 per game. ("deputy" I made this up)
I'm guessing he goes with either "The Professor" or "The Architect". "Deputy Sheriff" is funny too, at least for this season.
-
One said "Reggie Wayne and a second might do it for me."
I don't blame them. They all thought they were going to sign him in the offseason and got stuck with Ochocinco. How did that work out?
-
I don't know who we are gunning for but I fully believe it is for a talented CB.
I am looking at the small picture here speculating that a second talented CB to start the season with gives us the best chance at going into our bye week UNDEFEATED!!!
RT can be addressed in waivers with roster cuts coming around the corner.
Wallace would be a nice addition, but if we want him we could wait until after this season. PIT has no problem letting WRs walk away and they know they have rising stars at the position. If they dont tag him then he will be a free agent and we could throw some money at him and save the pick for our D.
All i know
I agree. We will raid the waivers for a offensive lineman.

Didn't the Saints lose another draft pick for this upcoming draft? I'll have to look it up.
