  1. If we can get Freeney for good price which I think we will I'd would love to see him and Mathis retire as Colts. Moala and Johnson to me depend on if we can Get Chapman out their this season but if Chapman plays well I would let Johnson go. I would bring back McAfee for sure. Might have to let Powers walk unless we can get him for a good price. Would give Avery and Stanton another year and between Link and Reitz I'd go Reitz.
    i don't see Stanton staying..
  2. I really don't want to start this debate again. I'm not a Polian apologist but I understand the situation he was in with the cap, and how the team was built around Peyton.

And no matter if you love or hate him, you can't argue with the results under his regime.

I'm afraid we'll be in the same situation again when Luck's rookie contract is up..
  3. As i used to tell people who would say that about the Pats when them winning would help the Colts you aren't cheering for the Bears you are cheering against the Texans.  Think about it that way .
I totally understand the part about never rooting for the patriots..if we have to lean on them to help us out then we are not doing our job but the Bears I don't see why not..i guess its because I'm not from Indy so maybe there might be a Indy/Illinois rivalry like NY and Mass that I'm not aware of..

Sidebar: this board is way too Patriot friendly..you can't even poke fun of their names without it automatically be corrected when you press submit..its bad enough that you have their qb as an emoticon..

  4. I don't think you realize. Look at the post I replied to. He stated Packers & Dolphins "aren't even in the same zip code" talent wise compared to the Texans. The Texans beat the Packers. Packers have as much talent as the Texans. Also, the poster I replied to is basically saying we don't have a chance against the Texans, which is LAUGHABLE.

This is the NFL ANYONE can win on ANY Sunday. Who would of thought Colts would beat Packers? What about Chiefs beat Saints (in New Orleans)? What about Cardinals beat Patriots (in New England)? What about the Packers slaughtering the Texans (in Houston)? I can go on and on.

Anyone who thinks Colts don't have a chance doesn't know anything about this sport or sports in general.

Of course I believe we can beat the Texans..I didn't forget that we beat them the last time when we had a significantly less talented team..I just don't agree with the logic that you used..

  5. The Packers beat the Texans... Your argument doesn't make sense.

Colts can beat the Texans at home.

I really hate when people use that that rationale as if it means anything..they come off as someone who dosen't know anything about the sport..At the end of the day it comes down to matchups point blank period..
  6. Nobody expected us to play this good..mostly all the teams that made the playoffs last year are in the playoffs again this year..I can't see Grigson not winning it considering we're the feel good story of the year..also I see Pagano and Arians being Co-COTY recipients..

  7. Allen hands down..we didnt miss a beat yesterday with Fleener being gone..dont think I could say the same if Allen wasnt there..also somebody in this thread mentioned Wesley Saunders who I really like also..overall I like our trio of Tight ends..
