The author of that piece is Evan Silva.....fantasy football expert
He is also the one who thinks the exact opposite of everyone else that has commented on Bjoern Werner. Evan believes that he has "no motor".

I loved this pick. Best value we got in the draft for sure.
-
He can have any number he wants in the offseason, it will likely not be his number in September. The league rules are only for regular season. Anyone remember Victor Cruz in his preseason debut? Rocking #3.
-
CB's - Now that we've got a legit front seven, our DB's won't have to try to cover for 5+ seconds if we can get pressure on the QB.
WR's - Now that we have a legit O-line and ditched the vertical offense, our WR's numbers will be much better with more time to get open and shorter, more efficient passes from Luck.
-
I like it. He was graded higher than T.J. McDonald and Rambo.
-
What good does it do to complain and whine about these things?
-
I'm thinking DE
That is a huge DE. But I wouldn't mind it. Either way, glad we are beefing up the front seven.
-
gave up next years 4th rounder
-
Great pickup. Another Nose Tackle

Yep and Polian thought bringing in Collins in such short notice would work........My point? Just because they have the title GM on there name dont make them right.....I like Werner, I think he needs to build some strength and has a ways to go but as a rotational piece we did very good
My point is, until Grigson starts making poor decisions in the draft, he deserves our benefit of the doubt.
-
Guess you were right.
*high 5*

The fact of the matter is that none of us are GM's. We have other day jobs. These people who picked Werner live and breath football 24/7 and have done so for the majority if their lives.
They know what they are doing. Don't start crying until Grigson starts missing. It hasn't happened yet. Give the Germanator a chance.
-
Sorry if this has been brought up already, but do we have a # for this guy to wear? I'm looking through the Colts roster, he might have to take a lineman number til cuts. #69?
-
He doesn't seem athletic enough to play 34 OLB. A little too stiff.
Mr Grigson and Mr Pagano disagree.

I forget who was giving me a hard time and telling me the Jets wouldn't take a CB in the 1st round like I had in my last mock...but good news! I wasn't crazy after all
-
I've never personally seen any mock draft where they got more than 10 picks right. At least I don't recall...
-
Mock's usually reflect the team need, not the player. Mike Mayock is known as one of the best for Mock Drafts.
Here's his from last year :

2. Washington Redskins – Robert Griffin III (Baylor, QB)
3. Minnesota Vikings – Matt Kalil (USC, OT)

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Trent Richardson (Alabama, RB)
6. St. Louis Rams – Morris Claiborne (LSU, CB)
7. Jacksonville Jaguars – Melvin Ingram (South Carolina, DE)

I'm actually going to try to visit my aunt and uncle in San Diego around that time. They have season tickets to Chargers games. I might want to sneak in to that one
-
Everytime the crowd boo's. Drink a shot. Have a lot of money and a DD on hand for this game. It's New York...they'll boo anything.
-
i'm hoping 0%. I like our RB's, we've got bigger fish to fry.

Here are a couple things you can count on tonight.
1. This mock, like all mocks will be pretty inaccurate out of the top 5.
2. No matter who we get, someone on here is going to be crying about it.
-
Mayock : "Well that went better than I thought it would, actually!"
Dameshek : "Why did you look at me when you said that?"
Mayock : "For obvious reasons..."
-
Eric Reid to the Cowboys....thanks for letting more 1st rounders fall to #24 Michael!
Colts are not a fan of QB Robert Marve

Robert is a good dude. I actually bowled with him and some other Purdue players before last season. In his defense, he was the best QB Purdue has seen since Joey Elliot. Maybe that bar isn't very high? lol. The problem with Marve is that he has not had much of a chance to do anything because he keeps having ACL injuries. Unfortunately over the past 2-3 years, we've seen way more TerBush than Marve.
He and Akeem Shavers from Purdue, both found homes in Tampa Bay, but no, Robert would not be a good fit for the Colts. Good dude, not a great pick-up.
Side Note : I'm still bummed that Andrew Luck had Purdue as one of 3 finalists for the college. That would have changed a lot for us, but I'm glad he got the Harbaugh treatment and landed with the Colts.
