  1. Robert is a good dude. I actually bowled with him and some other Purdue players before last season. In his defense, he was the best QB Purdue has seen since Joey Elliot. Maybe that bar isn't very high? lol. The problem with Marve is that he has not had much of a chance to do anything because he keeps having ACL injuries. Unfortunately over the past 2-3 years, we've seen way more TerBush than Marve.

He and Akeem Shavers from Purdue, both found homes in Tampa Bay, but no, Robert would not be a good fit for the Colts. Good dude, not a great pick-up.

Side Note : I'm still bummed that Andrew Luck had Purdue as one of 3 finalists for the college. That would have changed a lot for us, but I'm glad he got the Harbaugh treatment and landed with the Colts.

  2. He can have any number he wants in the offseason, it will likely not be his number in September. The league rules are only for regular season. Anyone remember Victor Cruz in his preseason debut? Rocking #3.

  3. CB's  - Now that we've got a legit front seven, our DB's won't have to try to cover for 5+ seconds if we can get pressure on the QB.

WR's - Now that we have a legit O-line and ditched the vertical offense, our WR's numbers will be much better with more time to get open and shorter, more efficient passes from Luck.

  4. Yep and Polian thought bringing in Collins in such short notice would work........My point? Just because they have the title GM on there name dont make them right.....I like Werner, I think he needs to build some strength and has a ways to go but as a rotational piece we did very good

My point is, until Grigson starts making poor decisions in the draft, he deserves our benefit of the doubt.

  5. The fact of the matter is that none of us are GM's. We have other day jobs. These people who picked Werner live and breath football 24/7 and have done so for the majority if their lives.

They know what they are doing. Don't start crying until Grigson starts missing. It hasn't happened yet. Give the Germanator a chance.

  6. Mock's usually reflect the team need, not the player. Mike Mayock is known as one of the best for Mock Drafts.
