Football--haha! Sorry, you knew that didn't you?
Other than football, I like being outdoors (especially in the Spring and Fall when temperatures are perfect). I keep busy outside of work on my farm where I have between 30 and 40 head of cattle and half a dozen pigs. (Nothing like raising your own meat! So much better than what huge chain stores offer.)
When I'm not working on the farm, I'm playing with my niece and nephews. Family is a big deal to me.

A favorite quote of mine is:
"Don't be afraid to go after what you want to do and who you want to be. But don't be afraid to be willing to pay the price." --Lane Frost

  1. Man, you gotta feel a little bit sorry for Sean Payton. The guy does have it rough. On top of his NFL pbms, him and his wife have filed for divorce. (Now I'm not saying he didn't have it coming on the football end of it cause he did, but man this rough.)

I retired in 2008 in order to not travel 6 of 7 days! I forgot who my wife was...she forgot who I was. My guess is Payton being home >>>ed it up.....I have no feeling for him, but my retirement >>>ed mine up....being home at a younger age/not a good thing.

It does make a person wonder if a SB victory & the media obligations that follow weigh heavily on personal relationships as a whole. The pressure to continue winning is not an easy circumstance to deal with either. Romantic relationships can sometimes fall by the wayside too. In certain cases however, people just grow apart, cut their loses, & move on.
